Yes, per that article.
1 or 2 older player is ok. I don't want anymore than that.
Of course, we were tanking before. Now that Bradwell need to have a respectable season, they're willing to bring in older players
Looks like Weddle will be a day 1 target. Wouldn't be my top overall choice, but as long as his contract is not too crazy it's a good move. Gipson seems unreliable and Iloka is more of a strong safety. Now they don't have to worry if Ramsay is taken by Dallas or San Diego. If this does happen, it will be interesting to see who they take if Ramsay is still on the board along with Bosa or Jack. If they are that high on him, they could start him at corner and possibly move him to safety after Weddle retires. At this point, any of those 3 would be great choices.

I am wondering if the Jags might pursue Mario Williams if he is released by the Bills.

Don't see why not.
Might the Jags pursue both Malik Jackson and Mario Williams? I like Mario Williams over Robert Ayers.

We could use some mature players as long as they aren't out to pasture players.

After all, the "race to maturity" sure came up woefully short.  Didn't win, place, or show.

Quote:As general rule, I agree with this sentiment about signing older free agents.

If you must engage in the over 30 market, do so sparingly.

However, 30 somethings can help from time to time.
Mario is the only one id want in this class.

Weddle said he wants a contender so im just ruling him out.
