I have plenty of respect for the admirable job Roy Miller did last year, and I have no issues with him returning as the starter. That said, the Jaguars do have money to spend. Now of course I wouldn't make this a first priority as there are dire needs to attend to, but should Damon stick around say a week into free agency, I'd love to see him starting for the Jaguars at NT with Miller and Jones mere depth behind him. As great as Miller has played, Harrison is still an upgrade, and every little upgrade helps. It would also help to let the two or three big guys rotate a lot.

In a typical year I might say don't even bother as we're better off saving our money and just sticking with Roy as the starter, but this year we're better off spending as we have a cap floor to reach and the move would totally beef up the DL up front. Just in sheer size we'd be going from Roy's 6-2, 320 to Damon's 6-4, 350, and I don't believe there's a better run stuffing DL in the game.

Bigger needs and upgrade opportunities exist that are a higher priority.  Just my 2 cents.

Miller and Jones did pretty well against the run last year.

I'd rather pursue pass rushers. (And free safeties) There was nothing pretty or well about those situations last year.
I mentioned getting Harrison in another thread. Most folks seem content with Roy Miller. While miller is good Harrison would still be a upgrade. I mean if you have the money why not?

It wouldn't be a bad thing - I just don't see it as a priority.

Really just comes down to how much they are planning to offer free agents at positions of greater need.

If there's still $ left to throw at Harrison - then yeah - why not?
I wouldn't think of it as Harrison being brought in to start, but more along the lines of Harrison being brought in to rotate with Miller and keep that spot fresh at all times.
