The guy is old, but he's good. Let him start over Yeldon for the next couple years showing Yeldon the ropes. Yeldon would also find some huge, impressive gains as a change-of-pace back. Then in a few years when Forte retires, Yeldon would emerge the man
So..... Take a second year running back, that was on his way to 1000 yards before injury, and replace him with a thirty year old stop gap?
Not gonna happen.
He's ring chasing.
Not gonna happen.
No chance anyone comes in and starts over Yeldon this year. None.

Seriously?

I agree.
If they want to make some competition at RB2 - that's great. But Yeldon needs a complimentary spell guy that can take over if he's hurt - not a mentor.
Forte's been quoted a dozen times already this offseason saying it's all about a ring at this point. So nope.
Wow, just wow. I'm all for signing Forte but its to backup Yeldon.
Forte is one of my favorite non-Jaguars. I really don't see him as a fit though.

Replace a rising Yeldon with a rapidly declining Forte. Yeah. No. Go home, 02. You are drunk.
