The time to win is now for this regime. Don't be surprised if we bring in some older players than 25-27 in FA.


I would say now the 30 year old or older player will be signed to 2 year contracts.


It is time to win now and we have the money.


Center,DE,DE again,LB,SS,FS and maybe a CB will be brought in to sign.We will have to pay strong because alot of people have money.


This is going to be a fun FA. The draft will fill in who we did not fill our needs with.


Rookies are not going to be a instant success.

Don't sign 30-year-old cornerbacks to big contracts.

Also with the 8 draft picks look for us to only draft 5 and trade 3. We need players of quality and not just players

I don't see this. Don't give away the future, DC is a good drafter.


I can see more older players joining, but I can see a young draft pick at the same position pushing the old guy for time.

The older FAs can be valuable to fill needs, and are good signings as long as the contracts are reasonable for their expected contribution period.  I hate dead money if a guy has to be let go (especially for Father Time, who never loses).

Wouldn't surprise me if the Scobee pick were packaged to move around, but the reality of it is that you can only do so much by trading late-round picks, and giving up three early round opportunities to get one guy rarely works out.
