He had one on one opportunities, and even being double teamed I wasn't encouraged because he had serious trouble splitting and fighting through them a lot of the time. I'm not giving a guy a pass for being lazy just because he was double teamed.
Good argument Vino.
But Bosa's record of 51 tackles for loss and 26 sacks in three years is comfortably better than Buckner's (and he played fewer games) and better than a lot of others too, so I don't completely buy that.
I wonder if his bulldozer-style might have worked in college, but lack the subtlety needed for the NFL. He's young enough to learn though.
While I think he's been over-hyped by some, I think there is enough evidence that he can be a very good player.

People said the same stuff about Leonard Williams last year.... Dude turned in a pretty good rookie season.

Buckner is terrible as well

Except people weren't saying that williams was worthy of his draft position bosa is not
On being doubled and tripled teamed just watch the difference between him and Charles tapper of Oklahoma

And Dante Fowler too? (Bosa's stats also dwarf his)

So we're talking about stats and not how they play? His stats don't matter he will get dominated in the NFL and fowler was my #1 player last year because of how he plays
I never look at a players stats when evaluating them they either can play or they can't
I'll give JaguarScience credit he has been consistent. I looked up his posts regarding Fowler. Not sure if you can call Beasley, Gregory, or Ray busts yet but none of them had inspiring rookie seasons and they all get destroyed in the run.
Bosa's game against Michigan this year put me right back on the bandwagon. If we are getting that guy in the draft then we are set.
Considering his motor issues and drug issues, he just doesnt seem like the "jaguar" type of player that guys like Fowler jr are who love football and are great off of the field. We tend to take the guys who love to play football so it is going to be a that kind of guy and Bosa doesnt fit that mold if we draft like we have in the past like Bortles, Fowler, Lee, Robinson, Smith...etc.

Exactly you have to have players that love the game and bosa tape tells you he does not
Boss or Ramsey that's all I care. If both or gone trade back
Bosa or Jack and Karl Joseph in the 2nd

I get it that you have to see them play too.
But I don't think you can put up stats like that unless you have a something about you.

Aren't you the oakman in the first round guy?

No, he is the Kevin Dodd in the first round guy... lol

Bahaha
But he's never wrong guys! Trust him!

You made me laugh. That is me. I've been calling for Oakman but I don't watch college. After researching him, I'll pass.
I want Myles Jack. Dude is a stud. I wouldn't be upset with Bosa but he won't get past Dallas.
Ramsey will make me happy too.
So I'm a Jack or Ramsey guy from here on out.
