Quote:I'm sold on Howard at 4 but would be very happy if Solomon fell to us. I do hope that if we don't get Howard, I pray to God no one in our division gets him. The guy will be a real nightmare match-up.

I think it's so silly how people talk about fearing other teams because of who they may draft.

I remember a couple posters here back when the rumor was the Titans would get bouye and someone else. (They didn't get either)

But guys were already saying "guess we know what team is gonna own us for the next decade."

Please. Stop being such hyperbolic cowards.
Evan Engram might be more of a nightmere match-up because you'd have to put a CB on him. Safeties and LBs are way too slow to cover Engram, and he might actually be sitting there at #35.

LBs in the NFL run 4.5, 4.6

Safeties also run 4.5, 4.6

I haven't looked at Engram's times but are you saying he's faster than 4.5?

Precisely

I'd love to take Engram if he's there in the 2nd round.

Ideally, I would like it if we could trade back our 1st pick to the mid 1st round and pick up a nasty guard like Lamp.

Then focus on a RB in the 3rd.

It would most likely take our 3rd round pick in order to trade up into round one with our 2nd.

I'm voting for Thomas if he's available, I think the second option would be to trade down with the Panthers in Fournette is available.

OK, but chances are Thomas will be gone and there may not be any trade down opportunities. So if you're picking at four, and Thomas is gone... do you want Jonathan Allen or Fournette. I feel these are basically their only realistic options at #4.
