Atleast 1 or 2 guys will say nobody, but to waste some time on football talk while some of you sit at your cubicle trying not to get caught by the floor walker...
Who would you say McCaffrey reminds you of the most? Skin color does not matter for that 1 person who is going to make the comment.
Danny Woodhead
Toby Gerheart
Shady McCoy
Leon Washington (this is my pick)
Reggie Bush (this would be my other pick)
Or who do you think he plays like the most?
if skin color actually doesnt matter then just remove tobys name entirely
How could you put Toby if you say skin color doesnt matter? Have you ever watch both guys play? You couldnt pick 2 players with opposite playing style and skill set than those 2. To answer you question, Marshall Faulk

Nah, faulk ran a 4.3 and could take it to the house. Mccaffery is a slow 4.49, rounded, a 4.5
Reggie Bush. All hype, but won't be a feature back in the NFL. He needs a two back system to accomplish anything in the NFL.

Guy was averaging 23 rushing attempts at stanford, I have zero clue why you think he cant be a single back.
But your opinion of him is rooted in his skin color, youve stated as much, so theres really no reason to even respond to this.

Bigger but slightly slower Darren Sproles
Julian Edelman:
Edelman is 5'10" 200
CM is 6'0" 200
Edelman 40: 4.52
CM: 4.5
Tough and somewhat undersized but good in space.
Intelligent players who know where to run and how to get open.
Neither one is overly flashy. Yeah they are both white guys, but discount that and they just seem very similar even at different positions.

Read who my pick was and reply again.

Reggie Bush averaged almost 16 carries per game and 8.7 yards per rush his last year in college. What's your point?

The point is that there isnt any reason to think he cant handle a full workload since hes already done it. Mccaffrey isnt reggie.
Said it before, I'll say it again. Less explosive Bush.

I think that's a really good comparison, because I think McCaffrey would make an outstanding WR. Daniel Jeremiah said he ran better routes at the Combine than any of the WRs. He has excellent hands, and he's elusive in the open field.
I think he will excel if he goes to a team with a QB that is very accurate with short passes, because I don't think anyone will be able to cover him.
I think he belongs in the top 15 picks, Daniel Jeremiah has him going #11 to New Orleans, which seems ideal to me, pairing him with Drew Brees could make him rookie of the year.
If people would just ignore the fact that he's white, watch the game tape and watch the Combine drills, especially watch the feet, and the hands, they would see that this is a very very talented football player.
As for comparisons, I find it difficult to compare one running back to another. They are all unique. Someone on NFL Network last night compared him to LeSean McCoy.

After watching how the Patriots used that receiving back White to carve up that cover 3 of Atlanta, my mind jumped straight to McCaffrey. His route running isn't that talked about but it's there. I hear some people downplaying his explosiveness too. New Orleans would be a good fit but I think they are more focused on their defense. I guess it probably won't happen now but I would have loved to see him play in New England with Brady/Edelman, his jack of all trades skillset and the precise route running screams Patriots to me.
