I've read in a few places that Jalen Ramsey played in the "star position" in the FSU secondary.
Can anyone explain what that involves and what the closest equivalent would be in the NFL?
We run a 4-2-5 defense, so it's kind of like three positions in one.
"People don’t realize the complication and multiplicity of playing that position and the uniqueness you have to have," FSU coach Jimbo Fisher said. "There is a lot of information because you’re a linebacker, you’re a [defensive back], you’re a rush guy, there is a lot of information that has to be processed there. You have to give him time to grow."

He was arguably worst at the defensive back side of the position
and we are picking him because??? That sounds like basically what Myles Jack is, and he is supposed to be our Free Safety?

That's interesting, thanks. Sounds like a real hybrid role.
I have another question from the peanut gallery for the Noles fans.
How did Brutus look throughout the year? What I have seen of him it seems like he is a big hitter but don't know how he looks in coverage. I ask from a Browns fan perspective because Whitner isn't getting any younger and getting someone as a UDFA to develop into his heir apparent would be pretty nice.

I took the browns to the super bowl twice today.

He was solid this year. Don't recall too many times where he got beat. He definitely likes going for the big hit.
People really need to learn that the draft is about projecting players to the NFL.
