I think this is a sleeper for our 2nd round pick. The guy is always all over the field. I think he could be the best MLB to come out of this draft. I would take him over Ragland for his pass coverage. Led the nation in tackles per game at 12.6 and plays in the SEC. Started 40 straight games so he has a ton of experience. The only question mark imo will be his 40 time. If he can run a 4.6 or 4.7 he could be the pick and im all for it depending who is left on the board. I agree with the one comment that says This guy's game film looks like most guy's highlight reels.

Playing in the SEC does not mean anything. Missouri is in the SEC East, which had only one good team last year.
Reggie Ragland probably will be a first round pick anyway.

Your comment doesnt mean anything! Thats my point, I would rather Brothers over Ragland who will probably go in the 1st.
Love him as a prospect ,his run stopping ability is Poz like.
What do you think about his pass coverage? He seems a bit limited athletically to me. Seems very much like Poz 2.0.

I think he is at the very least average pass coverage for a MLB. He is limited athletically but I think he will be better than Poz in pass coverage which that isnt saying much. The combine will be a big deal for him IMO if he can show is a little more athletic than people think.
Walterfootball has his 40 time projected at 4.66. Ray Lewis and Luke Kuechly had a 40 time of 4.58. If Brothers can run a 4.66 he wont be far off their time and would help his stock a lot IMO.

Jerry Rice played at Mississippi Valley State. Your comment is so so so so so so so so irrelevant. Did I mention that your comment was irrelevant? My goodness!

Exactly my point. There is no reason to care about which school a player went to.

I think its a bit more impressive a player dominates in the SEC than if he played in a smaller conference. You might not think that but im sure GMs take that into account
Defintely a fan of this guy. Ramsey or Hargreaves in the first and then this guy in the second would be a step in to creating a top 10 defense.

agree
Hargreaves, Brothers, and trade back into the 2nd for Joseph. Um, yeah

Show me how it is impressive that he played against Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Georgia. You could have a point if he played for a SEC
West team.

the guy had 152 tackles, if he was playing football in the backyard that would be impressive

So why did you say it would make a difference that he played in the SEC?

I said I think its more impressive to dominate in the SEC like teams against Fla, Ark, Georgia etc. than a smaller conference. I feel like im talking to a brick wall as usual

Yes goodness especially on the Joseph part. He looks like a turnover master. Plays everywhere. Would love this as a draft
It does matter, in case you missed it, the SEC has won 8 of the last 10 national championships. Alabama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Mizzou and so on. They are top schools in the nation and you face the best talent and athletes. Go look at NFL rosters its full of SEC alumni. Why don't we draft from a star player from JU instead of one from Florida or Alabam. Cuz he played at JU and not Florida.

when Mizzu played Florida Will Grier was the qb and Brothers looked like the best player on the field along with Grier. Thats when I first realized who Brothers was, at the time though I didnt know he was playing like that in every game
