Quote:Yes, you are right, Yeldon was listed as the starter. But he began to lose ground to Henry in 2014. That year they both had just under 1000 yards, and Henry had one more TD. By the end of the season, it was clear who the better back was. And in 2015 Henry showed what he could do when he was not sharing the load. Both benefited from a great O-line though.
Bottom line is, if you had a choice between the two to start for the Jags next year, who would you pick? I know who I would.
Henry runs while standing not leaning.I saw every Bama game for years.
Yeldon blocks, catches passes out of the backfield and gives you a 1,000 rusher.
The reason Henry played at the end of 2014 because TJ was hurt.
Why are we even talking Henry?
We need a back like we need a hole in the head.

Try this: think of this message board as just an interaction between you and your computer. Everything that comes back is computer generated. There are no real people on the other end.
Yes!!!!!!!
Quote:Okay, very interesting HC Gus Bradley plans on using Malik Jackson as a DT with Marks inside.. that makes me think that Joey Bosa or DeForester Buckner is the target in the draft... (if they dont trade down)..
http://jacksonville.com/sports/football/jaguars/2016-03-22/story/jaguars-coach-gus-bradley-we-signed-very-good-players
No offense here but I don't see how what you said, that Gus said, leads you to believe the pick could be Buckner...
mOJO Mock Draft 2.0 4/23
1. LA Rams - Jared Goff QB - (Obvi)
2. Eagles - Carson Wentz QB - (duh)
3. Chargers - Jalen Ramsey S/CB - I do buy the argument that their 2 LT's are re-signed and that they need secondary help more
4. Cowboys - Joey Bosa DE - I believe Ramsey is their first choice, followed by Bosa and Jerry's promiscuous feeling towards Elliot
5. Jaguars - Myles Jack MLB - I would quote Ryan O, but he's wack, however its sooo suspicious to me that the Jags are being so open about Jack, how he "looked great" in their scheme during a private workout. Why would the Jags be giving so much away? Could they be wanting to drive up his stock to make a trade back to target Lawson?
6. Ravens - Laremy Tunsil OT - The Ravens luck out big time, have arguably the best player in the draft and a big need fall to them
7. *Trade* Dolphins - Ezekiel Elliot HB - Rumor is the Phins are looking to trade up to get this guy, It would make a load of sense for them to pass the Browns. I think the 49ers would be more than willing to gather more picks.
8. Browns - Ronnie Stanley OT - Im convinced Hue Jackson believes he can revitalize RGIII, he'll want to help him out as much as possible. Joe Thomas has lost a step.
9. Buccs - Vernon Hargreaves III CB - Could potentially get Lawson, but they need secondary help more.
10. Giants - Deforest Buckner DT - They addressed Edge Rushers in FA, now they need some interior help.

Looks pretty good. Can't argue with many of those ideas. I could see the 49ers trading down to get more picks. Their roster is a mess.
My latest, and possibly last before Thursday, barring another pre-draft trade:
1. L.A. - QB J. Goff (they won't go for a small-school guy at #1 overall, despite the Steve McNair comparisons)
2. PHI - QB C. Wentz (this move up for Wentz shows what the new coach thinks of the QBs on their roster)
3. S.D. - OT L. Tunsill (Tunsil is the best player in the draft, they can get secondary help later)
4. DAL - DE J. Bosa (Granted they could probably get a quality DE in the 2nd, I don't think they risk it)
5. JAC - CB J. Ramsey (the desperation at DE in Dallas helps us land Ramsey. Better hope Myles Jack busts)
6. BAL - LB M. Jack (they need help at LB and don't let the talk of the knee scare them away)
7. MIA - RB E. Elliott (from S.F.) (Miami is just dumb enough to trade up for a RB, but he is gonna be a good one)
8. CLE - QB P. Lynch (this might be the guy they wanted all along. Could go to San Fran if no trade at #7)
9. TAM - DE D. Buckner (they need help a CB, but can't pass up the higher-rated Buckner and more pass rush)
10. NYG - OT R. Stanley (they can more Flowers to ROT, put Stanley at Left OT for ten years, need to protect Eli)
11. CHI - CB V. Hargreaves
12. N.O.- DE S. Lawson
13. S.F. - WR L. Treadwell (from MIA)
14. OAK - DT S. Rankins
15. TEN - OT J. Conklin
16. DET - DT J. Reed
17. ATL - LB D. Lee
18. IND - DT A. Robinson
19. BUF - DE K. Dodd
20. NYJ - OLB L. Floyd
21. WAS - LB R. Ragland
22. HOU - WR C. Coleman
23. MIN - OC R. Kelly
24. CIN - DT A. Billings
25. PIT - CB W. Jackson
26. SEA - OT T. Decker
27. G.B. - DT V. Butler
28. K.C. - DT R. Nkemdiche
29. ARI - CB E. Apple
30. CAR - OT J. Spriggs
31. DEN - DE J. Bullard
JAC:
1. CB - Jalen Ramsey, FSU (starter day 1 at CB to replace Colvin)
2. OG - Cody Whitehair, Kansas State (starter day 1 at ROG, LOT Joeckel - LOG Cann - OC Linder - ROG Whitehair - ROT Parnell
3. DE/OLB - Yannick NGakoue, Maryland or DE Charles Tapper, Oklahoma (more, more, more QB pressure)
4. LB - Joe Schobert, Wisconsin (can play OLB or move to ILB and replace Poz next year)
5. TE - Tyler Higbee, Western Kentuck (upgrade at #3 TE, moves to #2 next year and Lewis is released)
To be continued...

With the words "microfracture surgery" being whispered about Myles Jack now, I don't think he will be our pick unless we trade down a good bit. I believe Ramsey will be the pick if he's there, but he probably won't be. So I'm saying Bosa or Buckner, depending on who Caldwell likes best.
My guess/prediction is that the Chargers take Ramsey. Dallas wanted Ramsey, so they go ahead and take RB Elliott, because they know there will be very good DE's still available in the 2nd. Since Ramsey is gone, and Caldwell knows he can still get Bosa, Buckner or Jack at #8, he accepts a trade from the Browns, who want to move up ahead of the 49ers to get Lynch.
"With the 5th pick....wait, what....there has been a trade!"
1. L.A. - QB Jared Goff
2. PHI - QB Carson Wentz
3. S.D. - DB Jalen Ramsey
4. DAL - RB Ezekiel Elliott
5. CLE - QB Paxton Lynch
6. BAL - OT Laremy Tunsil
7. S.F. - OT Ronnie Stanley
8. JAC - DE Joey Bosa (from CLE)
9. TAM - CB Vernon Hargreaves
10. NYG - DE DeForest Buckner
11. CHI - OLB Leonard Floyd
12. N.O. - DT Sheldon Rankins
13. MIA - DE Shaq Lawson
14. OAK - LB Myle Jack
15. TEN - OT Jack Conklin
16. DET - WR Laquon Treadwell
17. ATL - LB Darron Lee
18. IND - OC Ryan Kelly
19. BUF - DT Jarran Reed
20. NYJ - LB Reggie Ragland
21. WAS - DT A'Shawn Robinson
22. HOU - WR Corey Coleman
23. MIN - WR Josh Doctson
24. CIN - DT Andrew Billings
25. PIT - CB William Jackson
26. SEA - OT Taylor Decker
27. G.B. - DT Vernon Butler
28. K.C. - DT Robert Nkemdiche
29. ARI - CB Eli Apple
30. CAR - OT Jason Spriggs
31. DEN - OG Cody Whitehair
38. CB Artie Burns - missed out on Ramsey in the 1st, but Burns has starting potential while Colvin is out
69. OC Nick Martin - can start at OG or Center, giving Jags more flexibility to find perfect starting line-up
77. DT Javon Hargrave - (from Cleveland) very quick big man, back-up NT this year, starter next year
103. LB Joe Schobert - (not the fastest, but can play outside or move inside to replace Poz next year)
If Burns is gone in Round 2, watch out for OG Josh Garnett (Outland Trophy Winner) as a sleeper pick. He would give Jags a road-grader to help Chris Ivory score on those goal-line carries and 3rd and shorts. We would then go CB in the 3rd, maybe D.J. White from Georgia Tech.
