The only federal land takeover I see is people who want to take over federal land. I see ranchers who don't want to pay grazing fees. I see armed men who take over federal buildings and spout a bunch of horse hockey about the Constitution. How can you defend this stuff? As far as I'm concerned, they can blow these people up. It's gone on long enough. Are people supposed to be allowed to take up arms against the United States whenever they don't like something? Don't we have elections? Don't we have courts and laws?

Defend what stuff? I've been pretty clear that this protest is a bad idea and not the way to go about it.

I don't know why everyone is suddenly so mad about this now? Over the last 250 years, as a nation, we have been doing this to Native Americans and everybody just kind of shrugged and chalked it up to progress.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's been over a century since the European invaders took land away from the Early Asian invaders. A lot has changed since 1900.

Was there a real gun fight? I dont know. Maybe there was. I simply pointed out what witnesses are saying. One of the witnesses said they shot him in the face while his hands were up and then again three times in the back. That isn't something that should just be ignored. But if you want to ignore it, that's your prerogative.
There's video of the shooting now the FBI's YouTube channel. The guy comes out of the car with his hands up and then starts going for his gun. Only after he drops his hands towards his weapon do the cops start shooting.

These protesters backed themselves in a corner. It was dumb. It makes pro-gun and pro-liberty individuals look bad.
I agree with their message but did not like their method of protest.

The guy had a gun in his left pocket, he has repeatedly said he would rather die than go to jail and that he would shoot any fed who pointed a gun at him. But you keep believing this wasn't suicide by cop if that makes you feel better.
