There are a lot of Gators evenly distributed throughout the draft that fit the Jags needs. Do we get any of them?
Vernon Hargreaves III, CB
Keanu Neal, FS/SS
Jon Bullard, DE/DT
Antonio Morrison, ILB/OLB
Jake McGee, TE
Kelvin Taylor, RB
Alex McCallister, OLB/DE

Didn't watch a crazy amount of Florida games this year, but every time I watched, Alex McCallister would make plays.
I like McCallister as a late round flyer. He is really slight to be playing on the D line but maybe he could develop his frame.
I also like Antonio Morrison more than most. Dude plays with an edge.
Also would be absolutely ecstatic with Bullard in the 2nd.
I watched every UF game this year.
VH3 - My top corner. He certainly has the best hands and body control of the top corners.
Neal - Runs like a FS. Hits like a linebacker. Covers like one too. I think he'll climb the boards due to work outs.
Bullard - his tape speaks for itself. He dominated a lot this year.
Morrison - How he checks out medically will determine where he goes. I think he could be a steal.
McGee - Can catch the football. Can't block at all. Might as well not even be in the game on run plays.
KT - No speed but explosive hitting the hole. Very smart.
Alex M. - Drug issues will hurt his draft status. I'd stay away until 5th round.
D-Rob - 1st round talent. Completely immature human being with no work ethic and hates contact to the point he'll run backwards to avoid it.

The bolded are the guys I want
Love Morrision but dont think he will be much in the NFL, Neal too
McAllister late is the only one I want.
I like Bullard but there's gonna be someone that fits us better than him at 38, if he's even there.
Give me Alex McCalister all day. Would love to see a guy with his length and athleticism be able to pin his ears back and go after the QB from the LEO spot.
I think he could be this years Danielle Hunter.
I want Bullard and Keanu Neal.
McCalister is a 5th round option as well. He's a play-maker whenever he's on the field, but I'd take the safer pick with the Keanu and pair him up with Ramsey.

Vh3 is incredibly naturally gifted. I don't see how anyone could be upset if he was picked at 5.
So he is the 5th prospect Dave has been talking about.
He said he has 5 players in mind for the #5 pick.

Alex McCalister is why i couldn't be an NFL GM.
6'6 240 7.01 in the three cone and 4.00 in the the short shuttle. That's elite for skill players, let alone hybrid lineman. And you see that bend, fluidity, and short burst on film.
He has a slight frame that will prevent him from being an every down player in the short term, but he has the raw natural ability to rush the passer including inordinately long arms and bend for his size.
The question is where does he fit in the draft. If you think he can develop into a quality sub package rusher that gives you 5-7 sacks a year then he is a second day pick. If you think that he is a special teams guy long term he is late day 3 slash undrafted.
I think that his drug situation and the fact that he really came out a year early is going to cause him to be under valued for his natural talent. I would feel comfortable with him in the fourth because the upside is undeniable at a position that has become almost as scarce and important as QB in this league.

Neither really. He might be an OK addition as a change of pace guy and it would be cool to have Freddy T's son play for the jaguars, but Kelvin just doesn't have the physical tools to be drafted or called a fa steal.

I disagree. Most running plays are made in a five to eight yard box. He has phone booth quicks and the ability to cut and turn on a dime. He can be one of those late round backs that you look up and averages 4.2 a rush

He's really not that quick though. We also already have a guy on the team that's much quicker and has a time in the NFL under his belt in Corey Grant.
As much as I'd love the second coming, Kelvin just isn't it.
You never know. I'm actually really hoping we can get him in the draft. Just not sure he'd fall far enough for us to grab him where it made sense.
