If so, remember the Beta is this weekend (28th on Xbox1 and Friday on PS4/PC)! Beta is closed, so you'll need to get on wait list or pre-order the game to get access. Can't wait!

GO JAGS!!
I suck at the shooter games.

They are invariably fun to play, and I would imagine they would be more fun for me if I were any good.  But I am awful at them.

I played the Star Wars battlefront online recently.

I was simply fodder to bolster guys stats.

On MW3, I had to dummy the difficulty level down to make any progress whatsoever.  If it were any easier, they'd have to count five Mississippi before shooting.

Picture Marcus Brody from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and you have an image of me in shooter games.

Maybe 2 years ago I was excited for it, now my expectations have tapered.

Yea, I hear ya on the expectations from 2013. Man, I was pissed when they showed the current stuff last year and this year. But I've seen a lot of the gameplay from L.A. earlier in the month and I like what I saw. Doesn't look anywhere close to 2013 demo. But in all honesty, most games take a downgrade at launch anyways. I can't wait though.

GO JAGS!!

I'm cautiously optimistic. Ubisoft has released some broken games lately, but hopefully that's finally behind them.

I'm with Bullseye in that Shooter games simply escape me. I guess I'm too high strung or something but typically those games just aren't enjoyable to me. That being said, one of the games that I enjoyed the most was Star Wars: Republic Commando. I do like Squad based games, so there is a glimmer of hope from me about The Division.

The odd thing is, I manage to get through the shooting parts of games like Uncharted decently.   But anything more complex than that, I'm toast.

I love FPS games and at one time was really good at them. The problem now is, with a family and career, I don't have time play them enough to keep up with the 12 year olds. So when I do play, I get frustrated as I am not as effective as I'd like to be.

Woe is me.

Perhaps that is part of my problem (generously assuming only one).
Yea, this isn't FPS though. This is 3rd person cover shooter. I hear ya on the "used to be good at FPS's". I used to love playing COD MW1 & 2. But my reaction time isn't what it used to be lol. Wife and kids have become priority; so there's no time to constantly play and get it back. But The Division isn't like that at all. Trying the beta tomorrow morning Smile.

GO JAGS!!

Ubisoft still hasn't sent me my code

So I played the beta today a little. I love it! People are comparing it to Destiny; and it's really nothing like Destiny. It's what Destiny should have been. The game looks really good on PS4 and there's so much customization in it. The beta is kind of limited on what you can do (but what beta isn't really); but for what's in there, it's great. I can not wait now for March 8th!!

GO JAGS!!

Who did you pre-order it through Doc?

Watching it on twitch, it seems like you spend a lot of time doing [BLEEP] all

Its great im playing the  BETA and fully addicted to it. The main missions seems like a grind to get yourself some gear and level up for the Darkzone. When it comes out im just gonna get max level on normal then head to dark zone.

Cant wait for it to come out now.

preordered through gamestop. still haven't received a code

Check for emails from GameStop doc. It's supposed to come from them. It was extended 24 hours too.

GO JAGS!!
Anyone else playing the open beta at all?

I played about 30 minutes so far and it seems pretty cool, but the gunplay doesn't seem to be the greatest.

I played it, not sure I'm a fan though, seems like you spend a lot of time doing [BLEEP] all, the chat was more interesting at times.

LOL... I have to purge my inbox from expletive laden messages to my 9 year old son from Battlefield 4 sessions.

He's a lot better than I would ever be, even if I tried.
