Do you guys have any interest? Still a lot of upside there but injury prone. Would be extremely cheap but some nice competition with Bortles. Marrone has experience working with a dual threat QB and I think RG3 is at least 3x better than EJ Manuel. He got hurt in the first game with the Browns and looked real bad in his first game back but played in heavy snow...his last two games he put up pretty decent QBR #s and got Cleveland their only win. I'm not sure if he would be beat out Bortles but let's say he did...could possibly bring some excitement to our team.


Forgot to mention that a RG3 + Fournette or any other of the top RBs would be a huge for us. If he could stay healthy which is a big if but dude is on his last chance with a chip on his shoulder.

The guy still does not know how to throw the ball away or to slide. RG3 ruined his career with dumb decision making that got him crippled.

He's solid depth, a good backup as long as you don't expect a season's worth of games from him. He still throws a beautiful deep ball.


Younger than Henne but I'm not sure he's any better than Allen at this point. I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him in, but I wouldn't be expecting much competition. Blake is better.

If I was him, I'd camp out in front of Arrowhead stadium until Andy Reid signed me to the squad. Then, I'd pester the [BLEEP] out of the man so that he would coach me up on how to be an NFL quarterback.

nope. Frail QB who got hit enough times to become gunshy, managed to lose his accuracy he showed in his rookie season and can't navigate a pocket or throw a complete route tree.  Rookie year he threw 3 passes (bomb, screen, slant)  guy lacks all other qb skills.

We just resigned Henne so I doubt he is going anywhere. I would rather have Brandon Allen than RGknee.

Cleveland also let Terrelle Pryor walk. Not because they wanted to but because of their straight up idiocy in negotiations.

They let rg3 walk cause he's garbage and everyone knows it.

Hasn't he regressed in able to read defenses? I thought I read somewhere that he struggles to read half the field and getting off his first read.

Someone should really just start a new thread for every possible QB that's available in free agency or via trade asking if we should be interested.  It never gets old.

Absolutely the Jags should give him a look.. Not sure why people trying to pretend the man's no good, when we have a qb that I wouldn't say is better..And the backup situation is a joke! A healthy Rg3 I believe can beat out Bortles..
