I have been through that before. I always did a drinking game with my friends centered around the draft. Had the 1st pick among my group for years. Looks like that's going to continue.

There is a running joke around here that if the Jags had the first pick in the draft, it would be the first time in history that the NFLnetwork and ESPN went to commercial at the start of the draft!

Former St. Louis Ram fan jaded by the team's move to LA. I was looking for a clean start, and I definitely like what the Jags are building. This isn't exactly getting in on the ground floor so to speak, but it's close.

It's a shame about your former team, but what can you do when stubborn owner meets somewhat stubborn city leaders and the fans are caught in the middle?

 

I consider our awful 2012 2-14 season the "basement" (where all the flooding occurs) season, so you are actually pretty close to getting in on the ground floor. OK, maybe the 2nd overall ground floor, but just consider it the 2nd coming of the ground floor.

 

Now if we can just get off the ground floor and up to the 8th, 9th or hopefully the playoff level.

Yes, I was a Rams fan all 21 years they were in STL. My dad took me to their first game in St. Louis at the old Busch Stadium when I was 10 years old. Didn't get to a whole lot of games after that, but one of them was the divisional playoff against the Vikings the year they won the Super Bowl.

It's a good time to embark, IMO.  At least compared to the past several years in JagsNation.  Things are looking up but patience may still be required.
