I still don't disagree with him. There's a reason a certain pair of "pass rushers" won't be resigned.

Yeah... If I'm stuck covering Hopkins and Julio etc while my front four give the QB 5+ seconds to let those guys get open....

That's part of why I don't understand people wanting us to draft VH3. House and Colvin are both good to great CBs with at least an average pass rush. I'm not opposed to adding another CB because you can never have enough. At the top of the 1st though? There are too many other glaring holes that we need talent at to take a CB that high.

I'm inclined to agree. The only knock on House was his lack of INTs. I personally don't care about picks as much as his high PD totals...and this is with one of the worst pass rushing fronts I've ever seen. I think Colvin has similar potential as well although it might take another year for everything to click for him.

In terms of talent I consider Colvin to be the 2nd best player on our defense by a healthy margin. I think that will be more apparent next year with a better pass rush and another year of experience.

He actually had 4 picks this year.

Not that it's a big deal, but I wonder if they're saying it in their heads as Oliver instead of Oh-live-e-a, hence the typo. Whatever though.
