As insurance and to spell TJ Yeldon in hopes of making a real playoff run?
Would you take him on a 1 year deal? Or maybe a 2 year deal?
Looks like Seattle is going to cut him.
Nope. I may well be proved wrong but I don't think we will see a productive Lynch again if he leaves the Seahawks.
At what price?
As a backup to Yeldon on a one-year deal, I think we could do a lot worse.
Nah. I'd rather pick up someone cheap like Charcandrick West or Orleans Darkwa and have them battle it out in TC. Yeldon will be much improved next season also, I really believe that.
I think he goes somewhere with a strong OL. Maybe to a team like Dallas.
As far as taking him here, as a backup to TJ I do think we could do much worse. For a year or two deal I would take him.
I would take him on a 1 or even 2 year deal. If we do make it to the playoffs, he would be a great backup if Yeldon goes down.
We had just and handful of rushing TDs last season.
I think the final tally was 5
TJ: 2
Blake:2
Denard:1

He was pretty seriously considering retirement last year. I'll be surprised if he doesn't hang the cleats up. And no, I wouldn't want him here tbh. I'd rather they draft a mid to late round goal line and short yardage back, because that's probably where we sucked most in the run game.
the OL needs upgrades to improve the run game and offense overall before a high priced RB who might not even want to play anymore Is brought in.
I think he might retire. He doesnt seem to have the hunger anymore (basically since they elected to throw rather than just run in the TD in the superbowl).
Might just be me, but he looked alot physically smaller yesterday.
Not for the price he will command. Rather put the dollars into overpaying for a rusher or cover corner.
Old and slow, it's time to go.

That's not really you.

You've never seen me without my wig. It's very slimming.
Man.... He was not good this season.... Plus he had his injury. After him thinking abut retirement last season, Id expect him to hang it up this year. At least I wont draft him with the 6th overall pick again

I think his body is finally telling him that enough is enough. He's at that magical age number for RBs, 29. Add that onto his very physical running style, I think even he knows that the writing is on the wall.
