Most would agree that the 4 areas of greatest need (in no particular order) for the Jaguars are LEO, Otto, free safety and cornerback. The only offensive position which might be considered for this list is left tackle, however Caldwell seems satisfied with Joeckel for the time being. It is likely they will target these positions in free agency and then use their 1st 2 draft picks on whichever needs they are unable to address in free agency. It is not likely that they will be able to sign more than 2 or 3 high priced players in free agency (among Vernon, Irvin, Jenkins, Gipson and Mack), although they'll probably pursue some 2nd tier guys like they did last year (Skuta and Brown) who won't break the bank.
Caldwell's decisions on whom to target in free agency will depend a lot on the depth at these positions in the draft. If he's able to get a quality player in the 2nd round at one of these positions, it would not be as necessary to spend a ton of money on this position in free agency. Listed below are players who "might" be available in round 2 at these positions. I'm sure certain players could be added and probably a few on this list may not fit as well as others. That being said, here is the list.
LEO: Noah Spence (could also be OTTO)
OTTO: Darron Lee, Jordan Jenkins, Su'A Cravens, Scooby Wright
Free safety: Darian Thompson, Jalen Mills
Corner: Kendall Fuller, Eli Apple, William Jackson
Based on this list, it would seem the Jaguars may want to 1st target the LEO (Vernon) in free agency as Bosa will probably be gone before pick 5 and Spence is a question mark due to character. Hopefully Ramsay will be the 1st round pick so free safety will be taken care of. That leaves corner and OTTO and it looks like the OTTO will provide the best 2nd round value as all 4 of the possibilities would become instant starters. Therefore, they should target Janoris Jenkins after Vernon. I do expect them to sign Mack so that would make 3 high priced signings.
Which players would you add to those having value in round 2 and who is your favorite?
I'd like to see them get a big end/DT in the 2nd like Jonathan Bullard (fingers crossed he is there). He could rotate with Odrik and it could also allow Odrik to play some 3T.
Ramsey in the 1st and Bullard in the 2nd is my dream draft at the moment.

Kevin Dodd should be there as well in the 2nd
Karl Jospeh is my guy! I'm not sure he's going to make it to the second round, but he's the best safety in this draft.

Love the guy but I think he will have big problems with tight ends in the NFL.
We don't need him but Travin Dural is going to be one of the steals of the draft on my opinion.
The only guy you have listed for OTTO, who could probably play the position is Jordan Jenkins. Cravens and Darron Lee would get eaten alive at that position. Both of them are way too small.

Darron Lee might have chance. I've seen people saying Cravens could play OTTO though,which quite frankly is ridiculous.

Another thing I worry about is because he flies around like a missile, he may be prone to injury more than others. Literally reminds me of Earl Thomas and Earl Thomas is exactly what this Jaguar defense needs.

I don't think he would play SS in our system. He flies around like a FS, but hits like a SS. He and Cyp would be the starting safeties if he were drafted.

Despite his interceptions this year coverage is not his strong point. I don't think he's a FS in the NFL.

If we are able to land Vernon, Fowler and him would have to be on the field at the same time. So yea, I could see either lining up at OTTO on 1st down and 2nd down. I wouldn't be upset at Vernon, Odrick, Marks, Fowler lined up and rushing the passer on 3rd and long.

Anyway, I wish he wasn't injured so there was more tape. What's he like as a person? That's always a big thing for me. I know he was one of the captains on the team.
