Looking at the draft value charts, the Jaguars would only have to fork over their 2nd round pick and next year's first round pick to move up to #1.

The only thing on the Jags defense that is missing is a dominant pass rusher like Garrett. We haven't had a dominant pass rusher since Tony Brackens. Allen is good and Id be happy with the pick even with some of the injury concerns. But hes a defensive tackle who can be moved around the line. Hes Calais Campbell. We have that, we dont need more defensive linemen, we need pass rushers. 

 

Id love a move up to the 1st pick, may cost us our 2nd round pick which Im not a fan of giving away.

It would cost more than our 2nd rounder. But fear not, cause Solomon Thomas also has every marker of a dominant pass rusher too and he might be there at 4.

May cost us? It will at least cost us our 2nd round pick PLUS I'm thinking our 2018 first round pick. We'd have to make up 1200 points to move up.
