Also I find it funny some people wait unti NFL.com posts news...they are always so late on news IMO. Even compared to CBS Sports/ESPN and ect.....

I wonder, did the Browns get him to sign on the dotted line by giving him more control than, for example, the Giants were willing to?

No, it'd be sad. Very sad. You guys have no idea how much I wanted Hue Jackson here. Greg Roman was choice 1B for me, and luckily it looks like he'll still be there in 2017. If he gets another solid year out of Tyrod Taylor, who's a perpetual journeyman type with nothing really special about his passing ability, he may well be a hot candidate next season along the lines of a Gary Kubiak (pre-Houston) or Mike Zimmer type. "How has he not been a head coach yet?" kind of thing.

As a Browns fan as well, I really like this hire. The GM situation needs to be addressed. Waiting for the bonehead move sure to happen. They will hire a local hot dog vendor.
