Just wondering if anyone would like to sign this guy in FA? Looks to maybe of put his troubled past behind him? 26yrs old and 47.5 career sacks. Didnt have the best season but he has the talent. Most of his sacks came from rushing on Justin Smiths side in SF but the guy is still light years better than any pass rusher we had this year. I think it would be worth it to take a shot at him. Have it in the contract if he get in trouble the Jags dont lose the money.
They tried to sign him last year. I wouldn't be surprised if they make a similar attempt. Aldon mentioned that he wanted to stay in the bay area though to continue to get his treatment and that's why he signed with the Raiders. That probably hasn't changed in a couple of months.

Yeah thats right, I forgot about that. Never know, money talks. With a healthy Marks, Fowler, A Smith, Ramsey/Bosa/Hargreaves and a few other draft picks the defense could be much better. Gus is a good motivation speaker so it would be nice if him and Dave could at least get an interview
File under Blackmon, Matt Jones, Manziel, etc.
Why the crap do some fans want these losers on the team? Aldon Smith is a piece of garbage human being. DUI's, domestic assault, drug issues... No way. The Jaguars already have Justin Blackmon and everyone here is annoyed by him. why add another? And no, his problems aren't "behind him".
Aldon Smith and Justin Blackmon have begun training to represent the US in the World Beer Pong Championships being held this year in Amsterdam. They will not be available.
Oh good grief. Do you really want to gamble on another Blackmon?

I wouldn't have an issue signing him to a 1 year deal with requirements to stay out of trouble. But, someone will sign him to a bigger deal to prevent that most likely. He's too much of a risk to sign a long-term contract right now.
GO JAGS!
