I would still want Fournette. But I wouldn't be mad if this happened.

Also a back like that can take the pressure off Blake Bortles..

How about no.

That would be a heck of a hall what ya'll think..

Adams is a safety, and I can't see us playing 3 safeties. Maybe 3 CBs, but I don't see 3 safeties.
Also, you have ignored our biggest need- Offensive Line.

Which is better- Leonard Fournette with Tyler Shatley at guard, or almost any RB with a much better guard in front of him than Tyler Shatley?
I would say the latter.
So many people seem to think the way to improve the running game is to draft a running back. I disagree. I think 90% of the success of a running game comes from having a great offensive line.

If we get LM here we are drafting a QB in round 1 I think. We may try to trade back a few spots, take Watson or Trubinsky... But I think if we land Murray we are going to cut Drob, Yeldon is our 3td RB behind Ivory and Murray takes the load. Bortles will have to beat out the rookie we draft, and Henne is history with Allen taking up QB3 duty.
I may be wrong, but I dont see us going any other pick if we sign Murray. We got our LT, we got our S, we bought a CB, unless we want ANOTHER DLineman (not a bad idea) and push out Miller or Bennett we are going QB.

DRob is already a FA

Trade back and get Mitch or Mahomes. Mitch played one year and had a bad bowl game. Mahomes was the leading college football passer. I think Mahomes is this years breakout QB. He can do it all. Only if we get Murray though. I wouldn't mind going more DL. Tom loves to have a fresh rotating pass rush.

Jonathan Allen would complete our DL.

If you think one of your safeties has the versatility to play some slot corner and joker roles, like almost everyone agrees Adams can, then you can employ the 3 safety defense that the Cardinals did very successfully with Mathieu, Jefferson, and Swearinger all being beasts last year.
Also, you have ignored our biggest need- Offensive Line.

I wonder if Hooker is a possibility. He's more of a natural fit at FS right? If the big three DE/DT's are off the board and they feel they can add another athlete like Ramsey into the secondary in Hooker they could pull the trigger on him and opt to trade or cut Gipson maybe.

Drafting Hooker would be a sign that they don't trust Gipson at all, because those 3 couldn't coexist on the field together.

Hooker I think is the bigger play maker. Has a knack for making big plays on the ball in critical situations. I think he has a 4 - 6 lay off though due to some injuries. But I think they'd probably try to work him in slowly behind Gipson this year with the idea of eventually replacing him completely mid-season. I'd be fine with Adams too in that scenario. But for play making sake. Hooker is the guy.

If we sign Murray I really don't see us drafting another RB at four, so it has to be Allen or Thomas.
Or maybe Dave simply has other plans for 27 April and is planning to address all our needs now so he can take the day off and not draft anyone.

Fournette and it isn't close. Fournette can be successful behind a bad line, your other scenario doesn't guarantee a good line, either. If you are going to improve the line anyway you might as well get the best back to run behind it. We can fix the line next year, too.

If we do sign Murray, it's not like we've really upgraded at the top RB spot. Murray is no better than Ivory.

I'd rather have Emmitt Smith, Adrian Peterson, Bo Jackson, Fred Taylor, etc.
More than I would want Steve Hutchinson, Vince Manuwia, Tyler Shatley, or any other guard.
