I could justify a Fifth. The team spent that on Scobee and he turned out all right. Any higher than that though and I'm gonna need anger pills.

Somebody is going to take Roberto Aguayo in the 3rd round this year.  Trust me.

Gene, is that you?

I heard that a bottle of anger pills come free with every third-round pick.

Probably true and certain teams can get away with that. The jaguars cannot.

Like I said, a fifth for aguayo for us. Any other kicker, idk who that would even be....late 6/7. Otherwise I'd be more than happy to find one after the draft.

I used all of mine up already.
For as much as I wanted to punch Myers at times, the dude was actually a decent FG kicker. Surprised to see he finished 14th in the league in FG%.  And only missed 4 FGs all year.  His problem was extra points obviously.  but those are basically short FGs.  Not sure why he would be so good at a normal FG but so bad at what is basically an easy chip shot one.  More a head thing than it is a lack of talent.

I wonder if the team would feel the need to actually draft a kicker.  Or will they just go UDFA to provide Myers a little competition.  Considering how they stick with young players and let them develop, I wonder if they'll even really consider going a different direction next year.

No higher than 5th, and I'd be OK with it.

It would definitely be a luxury pick for a team that had most everything in place.

That said, I'm sure we'll start to see more emphasis on the value of the kicker with the new longer extra point in place.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Where is Long Ding?

Nah, the Colts will draft Aguayo with their earliest pick, so he can be "groomed" as Vinatieri's replacement. Lol!

Grigson's a genius.
