The playoffs are here! The NFL 205/2016 postseason begins in Houston, where the #5 Chiefs visit the #4 Texans  - winners of the AFC South. Kickoff is at 4:35 ET Saturday, January 9  on ESPN. The winner of this WC game plays at either New England or Denver next week, depending on the Steelers/Bengals game result. GO CHIEFS!

How bout them Chefs!

You were mad somebody already started an official thread, you had to do this, didn't you?

Go Chefs!

This one is going to get ugly.

I'm not talking about the Texans vs Chefs game.

I was not mad at D6.
Let's go Chiefs!  Crush them tinhorns.

It may seem obvious the Chiefs should win this one but does anybody think the Texans can pull off an upset?

Are you serious

Anything can happen, you know. Of course I am serious.

I guess it's not looking good for the teams that are playing in this unofficially early game day thread.
Who are the "Chefs"?

Why do we have asterisk-official gameday threads 72 hours before the games?

Yes, it's possible (although I'm picking the Chefs to win).

Houston's Defense has been playing extremely well the last part of the season. They have one true player on offense (Hopkins). So, who knows? If Texans defense plays very tough, and they can get 1 or 2 big plays out of Hopkins on offense,, they could get the win, sure.

The Chefs thumped them earlier this year, but it was the first game of the season.

I hope they can cook up a butt whopping on those tinhorns!! I heard Alex Smith makes a mean beef brisket.

I know they have to win on the road, but man, I'd rate the Seahawks higher than 9%.

I always wondered how people determine the probability of a team winning the Super Bowl before the playoffs start. That looks stupid to me.

I know. It's all prediction/perception at first. Almost every time there is a team that comes from a lower seed that pushes further than expected.

I would not have expected a wildcard Giants team to win Superbowls. I didn't expect the Colts to go into Denver and win last year.

My AFC pick:

#6 seed Pitt makes it to the Superbowl.

(This is the 10th anniversary exactly when Pitt was a #6 seed and won it all for the 2005 season. As a matter of fact, they played at #3 seed Cincy 10 years ago also)

Coincidence, or something more?

no,anything can not happen, otherwise the Jags would have won a super bowl by now
