I think Obama's tears were legit.  Mostly because he's actually trying (even if he's going about it the wrong way) to do something more than offer his 'thoughts and prayers'

There is literally nothing I care less about than if the tears are fake or real. It's the policies I strongly oppose.

That site can disagree all it wants but I can guarantee you I personally know several conservatives who are pro-choice.

Careful. If you don't stick to the playbook, you might be mistaken for a <gasp> liberal. That link was pretty specific. Are you sure these friends didn't just say they were pro-choice as a joke, or maybe someone is trying to set them up. Have they been acting strangely lately? Could they be under the influence of some narcotic? Is there anyone you know who might have reason to blackmail them? Now think hard before you answer. This could go south real quick.

Yeah, I'm no liberal. Libertarian is more my speed. And I know what I know about the people I mentioned.

Hey.. I can accept that people do not always fit in the boxes people want to put them in. That last post was obvious sarcasm. The truth is people probably have more in common with each other than they know, and few fit the complete stereotype people assign to them. Of course there are pro-choice conservatives (despite what that site dictates). And gay conservatives. I've been labeled liberal on these boards, but I have some very conservative views on the economy and the death penalty. But division is what they sell and they sell it hard..

I think post like this remind me why I hate politics so much.

What's mind numbing is the irony here.

I've never understood the outright hatred some have for Obama (well, yeah, I do). While I may not align with him ideologically on some matters, on a personal level I've always viewed him as a mature, composed and intelligent man who admirably represents our country.
