Assuming Babich gets fired, which isn't a certainty at this point but we can only hope, I would like to see the Jaguars pursue Jim Tomsula as their next defensive coordinator. He's a former defensive end, was a defensive line coach for the 49ers when they had a dominant pass rush, and has experience as a defensive coordinator, albeit with an NFL Europe team.

Pass.

There were a lot of rumors and rumblings about how he was actively sabotaging Harbaugh while he was in San Francisco. I'd prefer to not have someone like that on the Staff.

If this is true, doesn't he feel like a complete jackass now?

God no. Tomsula wanted the head job before Harbaugh was hired, and there were periodic reports during (and after) Harbaugh that Tomsula was working behind the scenes to aggravate Harbaugh with an eye towards setting himself up as the head coach. Harbaugh's "reap what you sow" tweet was initially thought to be directed at Trent Baalke, but I've seen it theorized that it was instead a shot at Tomsula for actively undermining Harbaugh in an effort to get him forced out.
Marinelli?

Bob Babich.
I remember seeing a PC of Tomsula's earlier this season and thinking the guy looked and acted about like a block of wood. May still be an upgrade over Babich, but we can do better
Dick Butkus?
