We got the number 1 pick. Hope we can trade out of that spot to get more picks.

Gotta have someone to trade back with. Who are you seeing as a partner and for what player?
I'm hoping a QB emerges. With the 2nd pick, Cleveland is likely to grab a QB. If someone else needs one, they might want to make a trade to pick before Cleveland especially if there is one consensus top QB.
I think the Titans are best off taking Tunsil or Bosa. Jags should either hope Stanley falls to them, or take Ramsey. They could also opt for VH3 but I'm not really sold on him.

I like Tunsil. I do not like Bosa. I like Ramsey too but hate to burn #1 pick on him. Really hope we can trade back.

Anything can happen, but it seems more like a 2014 draft than 2015. In 2014 there wasn't a consensus top QB that had teams hoping to get him. Turns out two good ones were in the draft, but they weren't considered locks coming out. I see this year being more like that, I don't think the titans are likely to get good value trading back, probably just have to take the best guy available.

Yeah maybe. If that's the case then I think we go Tunsil.

What's not to like about Bosa?

I don't think there are any great QBs in this draft, but Goff and Lynch are probably the best. Neither worth taking in the top half of the draft in my opinion. Who are the 2 good qbs to come out of that draft? I thought it was all bad.

Edit: Nvm, I misread and thought you said 2 good qbs ended up coming from the 2013 draft. Hard to believe Carr fell all the way to the 2nd round and Bortles went 3rd overall.

I just don't think he's going to be great. His stats were down this year. Plus the Titans have a lot of needs and D-line isn't anywhere near the top of the list. O-line, WR, secondary, RB are major needs.

The only position that should really be considered for the #1 pick is OT, DE, or QB. Titans are set at QB, and Bosa might be better suited as a 4-3 end. But to say his stats are down is a bit misleading, he has been commanding a tremendous amount of attention on every play but is still dominant as both a rusher and run stopper. He grades over 20 points higher than the next best DE by pff (for example, other analytic sites grade him just as highly), and is far and away the best defensive player in college for the 2nd straight year.

Will he be JJ Watt? No, but that's because Watt is arguably the best player in the NFL. But I have a hard time finding flaws in his game--he has the size, speed, athleticism, and production. What do you think will prevent him from dominating at the NFL level?
Any good qbs in the draft? Must be tempting for Titans with an iffy injury prone QB

Just need to see if he has the 'want to'. If so he can be good. If not, remember guys like Haynesworth and Clowney? Like I said earlier, I think the Titans have bigger problems than D line.

[BLEEP] off lol. I'm happy with our QB as are most Titans fans. Most of the "experts" also think he's going to be a really good QB for a long time to come.

What makes you think he isn't committed to football? Despite being the consensus top prospect/best player all year I still thought he played with intensity every time I saw him play. I don't think his character is anything like Haynesworth and he doesn't have the injury problems that Clowney has, and he has been significantly more dominant/productive in all facets than either ever has been. I think that defense needs all the help it can get, but its equally tough to pass on Tunsil who looks like a future all-pro too. Either way I think they get a great player in either.

Just a hunch. That and my strong dislike for anything Ohio State lol. Agree that we will get better next year. Bigger question will be coach/GM. Please God no Mularkey or Kelly.

Hey when we had an iffy qb situation I would have been happy to draft one in the mid rounds every year.

Instead punters over Russell Wilson

Yeah I hate OSU too, but its hard to deny the guy's talent and production. I don't think he will be the Watt clone that he was initially hyped as, but I think that's an unfair standard to hold anyone to. I think he has a good chance to be an all-pro but we will see. Eddie George was also a buckeye, and he turned out ok. I think finding a new GM/coach is the first step. Honestly I wouldn't be opposed to Chip Kelly, just not in a GM role.  As a coach he lead PHI to consecutive double digit wins and then made some very questionable player trades/acquisitions as a GM. Hard for me to form an opinion considering I don't have any clue what goes on behind the scenes.

You honestly think the Titans should opt for a QB?
Yeah in the mid to late rounds if there are any decent ones? Watched no college football this year.

But why waste a pick for someone to compete for a backup spot?
