Yea we knw young is a back up and not that good but joke..... He's a top 2 pick and honestly playing worse than young.

Why can't this team seem to draft a competent lineman? It's been stated that supposedly most OL players are usually can't miss prospects in the first round. We seem to have a penchant for finding the roughs in the diamond patch

I get your 'drift', but as bad as sam young is (and he is really nothing more than a big body filling a space so we have 11 guys out there) a much greater concern is how badly joeckel was getting punked all afternoon. Sam young is just a backup, joeckel was a first round pick, and after three years here he still sucks!

Honestly the safe lineman philosophy seems less and less true in recent years.

Nope. I really don't think this was a 'tank' job. We're really that bad. Personally, I think this team basically gave up after the NO humiliation. The only good that came out of this last game is that none of our guys were hurt seriously, and we'll get a little better draft pick than we would've if we had won. It should have also removed any doubt from anyone's mind just how bad this team really is. We have no substantive defense and our offensive line can't stand up against a decent pass rush. And coaching??? 'Nuff said.

Even with the hamstring Parnell would have fared much better, and the coaches surely knew this much. Once the decision was made to play Young, the Jaguars lost this game.

They weren't winning this game with or without Young playing.

Young and Joeckel have played their last games as Jags I hope.......for Blake's safety I hope they are both gone

Joke got seriously manhandled yesterday.Young was bad as well.There was no chance for Blake to get anything going.

And in typical Jags fashion, Joeckel will play lights out for whatever team he goes to.

Watt can do this to most tackles in the league. Whitney mericllis looking like lt was the real heart breaker.
