Quote:Crazy isn't it. Imagine if we didn't have Reggie "2 yard gain celebration" Williams and Matt "coke head" Jones, but instead AR15 and Allen Burns. We would have went to the Superbowl in '07.

It would've helped to have a defense not allow Brady to complete nearly all of his passes. He went 24/26 that day with one being a drop. With that said our offense was going to for toe with him until Northcutt and Matt Jones decided to drop easy TD passes.
Quote:I read a stat about ARob a few days ago, for his 90yard TD against the Saints he hit 21.8mph, the 8th fastest of the season, that's pretty rapid.

I agree, although I'm fairly confident that Arrelius Benn is faster than both. Next year is going to be insane.

I'm thinking...

WR1 (split-end): Allen Robinson, Marqise Lee, Arrelious Benn

WR2 (flanker): Allen Hurns, Rashad Greene, Neal Sterling

The two backups, Lee and Greene will likely rotate in the slot

Other WRs to consider...

Bryan Walters - free agent, might re-sign

Tony Washington - nearly made roster to start season

Rashad Lawrence - practice squad WR activated for a couple weeks

Damian Copeland - has been a jar-on-the-shelf for a long time

Shaq Evans - On practice squad; 4th round WR for Jets in 2014

Rasheed Bailey - rookie on practice squad

Justin Blackmon - keep hope alive

Quote:Absolutely not. We can't rely on Lee. We need another WR in the offseason. A. Robinson has convinced me he has elite speed and I see him doing more Z routes. I always thought he was the best X receiver in the league and our best target but I didn't think he was quite Z receiver worthy. With that said, I think our target should be a dominant horizontal slot guy (Y position). Walters is good but no reason to grab somebody else for low cash or low pick and see if we can upgrade atleast the depth.
The absolutely last thing we need is another WR.

True. On those sweep plays to him he can hit that edge and get 10yards before the defense closes down on him. I don't see any of the other receivers doing it that fast!
I really don't expect much.  Seems like he's snake bitten.
