Robinson

Smith

Bortles bc he is 2nd in TDs. And could be first after week 17.

Poz bc he is 1 spot behind Smith in tackles.

Hurns might get the last spot

Thomas won't get it. But....Kuhn made it a few years back, so who knows.
Quote:97 - Pozlusney

91 - Julius Thomas

74 - Blake Bortles

59 - Telvin Smith

46 - Allen Robinson

No way in hell pozlusney gets in
Hmm if we're predicting

94 - Bortles

63 - Telvin

55 - Robinson
Quote:Robinson and Hurns should both make it. Double digit TDs by a WR is a big deal, both of them have had incredible years and both should be recognized. Bortles should make it, too, especially if he stays first or second on TD passes, but with the bias against Jaguars players I wouldn't be surprised for him to get snubbed. Telvin is a long shot because 4-3 LBs rarely get recognition, he'd probably need a couple of INTs in this last game to make it.
I know Bortles is the best thing since sliced bread for us at QB, but I am not sure that objectively hes a top ten QB. And I know people are coming with Pitchforks saying he is top 10 in yardage and top 10 in TDs. He also nearly the worst in INT. His completion percentage is below average, and I would bet he leads the league in pick 6's and probably overall T/O's too. Thats why his passer rating is middle of the pack. Hes good, but guys like Matthew Stafford have had great years too in the past, and aren't as good as their stats suggest. All this said I think Bortles is somewhere in the 10-15ish range. But I don't think guys in that range make the top 100. Or rather if they do its at the bottom like the 90's.

AR15 is the only one I think will make it. Maybe Telvin if his peers pay more attention than the media does. Bortles would be next on my list, but I don't think he makes it. Anyway, flame on guys.

I would agree with these guess. Just give me -1 on all and that's my prediction.
1. Bortles

2. Allen Robinson

3. Gus Bradley

Am I doing this right???
you're wrong HandsomeRob86. him, derek carr, peyton manning and eli manning tied the league in pick 6's

Objectively Bortles is a top ten QB depending on what stats you value. That's objectively. Subjectively the league hasn't bought into him yet and I don't actually believe he is a shoo-in to be ranked in the top 100 players, he just should be. He's a top ten player in the league at the most important position in all of sports. I was just mentioning who should make it, but being they're all Jaguars it's likely that only the guy with overwhelmingly strong production, AR15, actually makes it.
Robinson should be a shoe-in. The top 100 is voted by the players, so we will see how the rest of the players view A-Rob.
Hurns & Telvin would be between 90-100 if they made it, I say Hurns has a better chance than Telvin(even though Telvin is a stud). A Rob should be top 50 lock.

Actually Philip Rivers holds the lead by himself with 5. 3 is still too many in a season though.
Allen Robinson def

Bortles might make it, if he leads the NFL in tds he def should make it

Telvin can make it

Lol they're not going to put a Jags player on it. If they do only Allen Robinson will make it, and it will be low. Also receivers who aren't nearly as good as him will still be put above him.

That's the interesting thing about these rankings. Being voted by the players, stats may/may not be a big part of it, idk. It could depend on alot of different variables that aren't necessarily based on numbers (WRs most difficult to cover,, defenders requiring double-team blocks,, defenders that fly all over the field with "super-speed",, etc..).

Stats may not be a huge part of peer-respect. We'll see.
19 WR's made the list in 2015. You figure Robinson is a lock even if that number goes down to 15, and I don't see it happening with all the productive receivers this season. But hey, nothing is a given when it comes to Jaguars' recognition on a national scale. I peg his chances at 85%.

12 QB's from 2015, so Bortles is iffy (keeping in mind the lack of recognition the team gets). 40%.

16 LB's, so Telvin should actually have a decent chance. 50%

6 TE's, with Julius being the third ranked at 45. Only 2 players from 2015 dropped more than 55 spots from their place in 2014 - Adrian Peterson who basically didn't play last season, and Terrell Suggs. But 10 players reappeared in the 2015 list after being on it in 2013 and missing it in 2014. I'll put Julius at 15%.

Jordan Matthews, Terrence Williams and Desean Jackson all get in ahead of Arob. 500 yds in the big city NFC East is like 2000 yds in irrelevant Jacksonville.

Jarvis Landry is obviously better than Arob because he has cool hair and catches a bunch of sweet 5 yard quick outs and bubble screens. Plus he is BFF with OBJ and they practice dance moves together on twitter.

Julian Edelman over Arob because he catches passes in wins whereas Arob only catches passes in garbage time.

Martavis Bryant and Markus Wheaton are more big time because they catch passes from Big Ben while Arob catches passes from subpar small city Blake Bortles.

Andre Johnson gets in ahead of Robinson because he was a big ticket free agent signing that put the relevant Colts over the top.

According to the media, Arob may make honorable mention on a top 300 list. He needs to work on being in a more relevant big city market like Dallas or Philadelphia, more appearances on First Take and get more instagram likes if he wants more consideration.

Only if you include Myers
Blake Bortles:  Yes I put him in the top 100 players.  35td is there with the best QB in the league.  Bortles did this with a very shaky oline and a very mediocre running game.  I can't wait to see what he can do with a better cast around him.

Allen Robinson:  I think we got a superstar in the making.  22 year old beating Randy Moss numbers.  Throw the ball near him and he will go get it. He reminds me of Steve Smith on how he attacks the football.

Allen Hurns:  He missed time and still put up over a 1,000 yards and 10 tds.  Just a playmaker

I believe that completes the list.  Your opinion may differ but I don't see anyone else on the team worthy.   You hope Marks comes back because he has that kind of potential.

Possibly Julius Thomas just based off reputation

Robinson and Telvin Smith
