Quote:I rode over a hundred miles yesterday to buy a bottle of MM. Not because that was the closest place, but because I wanted to ride. MM is just good basic bourbon to have around. Not pretentious and not bottom shelf.

One simply replaced the other. I miss the wonderful spiciness of well-cultivated sinsemilla. It was always my favorite. I still have dreams about it on occasion.
The overall variety today must be incredible.
Can you make whiskey out of cannabis?
Best of both worlds!
I will plug - again! - for Balvenie Double Wood 12 year Scotch. It pushes my upper limit on cost as it runs about $65 a bottle, but it's so smooth and flavorful that it's worth it. My rule about that stuff is that I drink that first so I can get the flavor that I want, then switch to Dickel or Maker's for the rest of the evening.
I was pleasantly surprised with a bottle of Four Roses Small Batch in my stocking this year. Very pleasantly surprised. Also got a couple of those giant ice ball moulds... Pretty cool (no pun intended).
Wish me luck on getting drawn for a bottle of Pappy 15 at the end of the month!
