I'm glad we are all back together, like a bunch of hobos crowded around a dumpster fire for warmth.

 

Not just being down on a Sunday, but all of the Week 16 games! It started on Tuesday - hours after the Broncos beat the Bengals in OT - and I kept thinking Amelia probably had an official thread about it.

 

Then I wanted to post playoff scenario updates for Week 17 and which games are still important to teams that have something to play for. It sucked not being able to post that update or join game day threads.

 

Then there is the draft order. I wanted to do the playoff scenario thing with clinching draft picks, such as "Cleveland will get the top pick if Tennessee wins." (You have to be kidding me if you think Cleveland will beat Pittsburgh.)

 

If you happen to see my "Fire the board administrators" thread later, let me know if the same thing happened to you. I am not going to copy and paste that one here.

Actually, for me, the board going down was a bit of a relief.  

 

For a change, no one was posting idiotic comments about the Jags that HAVE TO BE REFUTED IMMEDIATELY OR THE WHOLE FRANCHISE WILL FAIL!!

It's okay to say y'all around here. Most are southern folk so "you all" is kind of foreign.  :thumbsup:

Nobody in Florida says it. I never heard people say "you all" in person. When people do use that contraction, they are in different regions of the country. So it is not necessarily a "southern thing" anymore, I guess.

Nobody I heard. I am sure a lot of people do, but that never happens wherever I go.

For real. It's very common in Tampa. Though they say the "southern accent" in FL ends around the panhandle due to Northern transplants further South. I'm from NY so it drives me nuts when I hear it, though I find it strange that JW doesn't hear it around Gainesville, considering it's pretty country out there.
