Quote:I am going to worry about the Chiefs game if Kansas City does not implode in the offseason. For the Raiders, who I refuse to call Oakland before the vote, I will take a wait-and-see approach. We need a miracle to beat the Broncos.I think we have the best chance of beating the Broncos actually. Especially if they lose Von Miller, Trevethan, and Manning in the off season. I don't see Brock being a successful QB next year, and they have serious question marks on offense with Demaryius sucking, Vernon Davis not being able to catch, and Sanders being the only real weapon besides C.J. Anderson.

If every team were to stay about the same as how they look now, that's definitely not as favorable looking as this season's schedule. Not even close.
Though, we all know that many things can change with any team after every season. So, who knows?
Injuries can also happen and derail a once powerful team's season (i.e. Cowboys, Ravens, Colts of this season).
Never know what may happen in regards to injuries.

You are way too optimistic about Von Miller and Danny Trevathan leaving Denver. Also, you are forgetting the Broncos will have a whole offseason to develop chemistry between Brock Osweiler and the WRs if Peyton Manning does retire. In the last five games, that was Denver's problem on offense - miscommunicatoin between the backup QB and pass catchers due to inexperience. In addition, Denver can use the franchise tag on Miller if necessary.

Yes, injuries were the main reason Baltimore and Dallas sucked this year. But there is another factor as well: losing players to other teams or retirement (a big problem for the 49ers). Then there are HC changes in the AFC South, although the Colts may be better next year without Chuck Pagano. But I am a realist and don't want to expect anything before the regular season starts.

Plenty were saying that about this years schedule and it turned out to be a cupcake schedule.

Last year the NFC South was horrible so we all thought this year was going to be a cupcake. Then somehow the Panthers never stopped winning and the Buccaneers became playoff contenders. We also had to play at New England.

Pretty tough schedule, but our division has to play those teams too. Could be another case of 8 or 9 wins taking the division in 2016.

Mathematically it is still possible for a 7-9 team to win the division.
The Colts and Texans will each have two harder games than us due to their division rankings barring miracles the next two weeks.

We got to play Carolina early before they really got rolling and it was at home. Same with Tampa minus being at home.
We played the clots without Luck twice, two rookie QBs (one of them twice), a San Diego team riddled with injuries, a Texans team without a legit starting QB twice, an injury riddled Ravens team and an Atlanta team that had lost 6 in a row prior to playing us.
The schedule was more than in our favor this year. We should have won every one of those games minus maybe Carolina.

I'll be at the San Diego/Los Angeles game

What I mean is in hindsight, we realize Carolina was supposed to win that game. We just did not know at the time how good they are this season. The Panthers started scratching us right out the gate.
Why does anybody make a big deal about who Indy's quarterback was when we played them? It was our kicker's fault we lost at Indianapolis, not the defense. We would have won at home anyway because Luck has been bad this season and one touchdown was on special teams.
Should have beaten New England? LOL

Quote:Home: Houston, Tennessee, Denver, Oakland, Green Bay, Minnesota, AFC North(probably Cleveland)*
Away: Houston, Indianapolis, Tennessee, Kansas City, San Diego, Chicago, Detroit, AFC East(probably the Bills)*
London: Indianapolis
So Bortles will face Bridgewater, maybe Manziel, and Carr next season. Looks like a pretty solid home schedule, and tough road schedule.
The Teams defense is set up to stop the run but if they draft a particular Florida Corner in the 1st round and if he quickly learns the position the passing teams might not be as deadly against the Jaguars as they have been in the last 3 years.

I know who you are talking about. He is the same player I want unless somehow a certain defensive end from Ohio State falls in our laps. You might know who he is too. But first things first, let's see what our assigned pick numbers will be. It will be an interesting offseason, especially in regard to defensive players, but no matter what roster changes are made I can't see this as being an easy schedule.

It is great that we play the Raiders at home, considering our putrid West Coast record. It should be a fun game to watch.
Until a team actually moves I prefer no one uses the name LA.

I am not going to call any team LA either before a move occurs. What I am doing is simply not using any city names before the NFL vote.

Well until they actually move I'm going to call them by the city they're in.
