Telvin must be a human because it's against the NFL rules for a non human animal to play.
The Screen Sniffer.
Telvin is incredible. He is one of the toughest guys on the team (Telvin vs Hurns) and also one of the smallest. Pounder for pound I wish we had 53 telvins.

he a got a ton of heart.
Sit him and Yeldon for these last 2 games. Let em get ready for next year.

We actually have a relatively feasible path to the playoffs still. If they're cleared they play.

lol, you honestly think the texans are going to lose too the tacks?

Either way, a 1 footed Brees is going to shred this Defense into pieces regardless.

Sure. They have no healthy qb.

Regardless even if we were eliminated, if they're cleared, they play. There's no such thing as meaningless games. Especially for young guys.

I'm aware, but it's against the tacks... They're terrible. It looks like your classic 10-6 final score game. I just think the texans' Defense will be strong enough for them to win it.

Yeldon shouldn't be cleared, considering he has a MCL sprain and those just don't go away over night. Telvin could do even more damage to his shoulder, which could delay the healing process.

Two huge pieces of this team's core moving forward. Luckily, the game was flexed into the 4pm slot. The texans game should be, or will be close to being over around our kick off. If the texans win, we have zero chance of making the playoffs and those 2 should absolutely be sat down.

At this point of the season, delaying the healing process isn't much of a concern. The type of injury he has will have more than healed by TC.

Not if he makes it worse, which could happen if he plays with it.

I understand all these guys want to play. If the texans win that game, we have no playoffs to play for. I don't see any harm in sitting them down, if that's the case. He's a great player for us, but he's not going to be the sole reason we have a chance in this game. The Defense can't stop anybody with him healthy anyways.
If they're cleared to play then you play them. It's that simple.

A lot of players have incentives and things built in to their contracts. Sitting a player that's cleared to play simply to rest them for next year is not something that should happen.

I know how it works and I was giving my opinion on the matter. As I said above, they all want to play. If they can walk, they're going to want too play.

I just really don't see much of any gain in having them go, if the texans win that is.

To a young team and to young players trying to get better, every game is important to their development.

Learning how to fight through pain and adversity late in a season is invaluable experience. Knowing how to deal with these things can be the difference between winning and losing future playoff games.

I completely hear and understand what you're saying, but after this team came out as flat as possible, and as garbage as possible against the Falcons. I don't buy the "this team needs to win out theory" anymore.

They had their chance with an incredible amount of momentum, after that colts beat down and what happened? The Offense couldn't move the ball against arguably the worst Defense in the league. Our Defense couldn't stop a team that had lost its last 6 straight games and scored a grand total of 29 points in the past 3 games.
I don't know what part of if they are medically cleared they are going to play that is tough to grasp.

You say you get it but your opinion of what should happen simply is not how the game works.

It isn't about what the team has to gain. If Telvin is cleared by medical professionals to play, you play him. That's how it works.

It was the same with Hurns.

My dude, I don't know which part of "my opinion" means, that's how it's going to be.

If they're cleared, they're cleared and they're going to play. I never said they wouldn't. My opinion is speaking on what I think. I would sit them down if the texans win, which is the same thing I've said from the start..

I've made it clear that, that is my opinion. I agreed that if they're cleared, they're going to play dude.

So you just expect them to quit trying? That would be completely counter productive.

Thank goodness the players don't share your mentality. Telvin would have never become Telvin if he had your quitter attitude.

Yes, that's it. I expect the entire team to just quit trying because 2 players are injured.. Totally..
