Can't tell from the broadcast replay.  I'll look at the all22 tomorrow.  I didn't see him slow down, but you may be right. 

 

Either way  - that play puts him much closer to 1000 if it's competed and probably wins the game as well. 

If the Saints game happens as I expect it, the jags will have to throw to keep up, with probably 80 total points on the board. If it isn't Robinson that goes off, it'll be Hurns.

Blake has already said he wants Hurns to get 1k. So I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a few extra targets.

I've seen it where Hurns says he doesn't care about 1000, but deep down inside he has to want it.

Yeah I saw where he said that, in the same article was where I saw that Blake said he really wants it for him

Would be a nice treat to have Hurns hit it and then some.

Me too. I would really hate it if he almost gets there and comes a few yards short because then we would never stop thinking, "If only he did not have that concussion . . ." like when Cecil Shorts nearly did it.

This is a common theme before big games. Often players tell the media, 'It is just a game," and stuff like that. In regard to statistics like this one, it is about priorities: winning is more important to the players. But I am sure Allen Hurns does care about it.

Actually the word "beautiful" is someone's POV. Not all NFL fans have the same definition of what makes a pass beautiful.

I hope Hurns gets it. The dude works and plays so hard. He definitely deserves it

I don't know.  It looks to me like he starts out a beat slower because he's gonna subtly fake the underneath shy of the 50 yard line.  But then he stays on the gas. 

 

So - if he was supposed to come out of the gate full speed - maybe it's a timing issue on Hurns.  If he was supposed to try and make the defender bite - then it's an overthrow. He definitely doesn't "stop" running full speed, he just didn't put the pedal down right away.

The team is already better. This season far fewer awful throws have been attempted.

Looks to me like timing. If he caught that though he is already splitting the safeties, would have been a TD
