Quote:Houston is on there 3rd string QB, Indy is playing with a 40 year old QB and looks awful, but yet people saying we dont deserve to be in, our offense is fun to watch when they are clicking, most fans would much rather see us play then those two teams.
Weeden is actually the tin horns' 4th QB this year. And they still win. We struggle to beat 4th string QBs when our 1s are playing. That's why we don't deserve it.

If we win the division are you saying they should go over us? How would they deserve it over us if they have the same record as us? Thats my point

Sure, but the fact that they didn't beat those teams already shows that they aren't really any
more deserving than the others. A sad statement on the state of the Jaguars. The worst schedule in years and they can, at best, back into the playoffs if three variables fall into place.
Mariota is out for the season. Hopefully Mettenberger can do something
Luck is out this week. Hoyer still in concussion protocol. Maybe the football gods haven't turned their backs on us yet.

It's as simple as this...
we are not yet a play off caliber team... period.
Am I ready to be a 'de facto' tacks fan for the next two weeks?
No. Plain enough?

Welp. The tank begins. Sounds like they are officially fighting for draft position.
The football gods gave us every opportunity, seemingly every week this season and we still only have 5 wins and 3rd place in the worst division in football lulz.

I think the knee of Mary Toyota is really hurt. I don't think Mularkey is looking to tank, considering he's trying to maybe find another job after this season.
I mean the tin horns and the clots are pretty banged up... If Mularkey can pull off a win against the tinhorns, we got ourselves a chance...
Edit: Of course that means we have to beat the Saints... Which is a tall order for our D...

There's that big two letter word again....."IF"
and beat the brees and the saints....at home?
our D is pretty banged up too now.
I'm afraid its beyond tall.....
But I'll hang in there until the bitter end.
Oh and to heck with the tacks....it just sticks in my throat
So far, given that
*our schedule was regarded as one of the easier this season,
*the fact that so many of our opponents had injuries to their key players
we've yet to fully realize a great deal of success (with the exception being the second dolts game) given the help we got. This being the case, why would anyone expect that, even with Brees out, that we're suddenly going to pull a victory out of our arses? Our 'modis operandi' has been to make mediocre and even bad QB's look pretty good and good QB's to look incredable.
