This is coming from the same poster who believe the children that died at Sandy Hook either faked their death or "staged" the shooting.
TBH, I expected this from him.

Quote:As soon as I saw this, it was pretty obvious which one was legit. But it doesn't make a difference to me. His mom was US citizen. That means he was a US citizen at birth. Not sure why the location makes a difference.
Quote:Actually that is not true. The citizenship of a parent has no bearing in the citizenship of the child, it's all about where the child is born. If he was born on a US military installation or embassy they are considered US soil and would be a citizen of the US. Otherwise the child would be a citizen of the country of birth. That's a very common misconception about what Natural Born Citizen means. If you are born in the USA, you are born a citizen, that's true. If your American parents give birth to you while in vacation in say Germany, you are still born a Citizen, you are not naturalized, therefore you are a natural born citizen. I don't know why they teach it that way in high school, but it's just bunk. It's even laid out and cited on the wikipedia page.
Quote:That's cute because Obama is 400x the man Trump is.

When my ex-husband was stationed in Germany back in the 90's, his son was born in a German hospital and he and his ex-wife had to fill out special paperwork for citizenship purposes. The citizenship issue does get muddied by what the media tries to sell people as well. I have been a long time out of high school so I don't remember what was taught then.
