There are a lot of long words in there, Miss Sir; we're naught but humble pirates. What is it that you want?

If you look at Blake's 13 games started last year to this years 13.

His yads, ypp, rating, tds,and int are all better.
Deacon, my poster of the week. You go.
Bortles is balling

The advanced metrics was created for nitpicking purposes so the sports media can have something to talk about when nothing controversial happened during the week.

For a small fee.
Quote:Of course the uncontrolled variable in this case is the status of the opponent he was playing per week of stats. I know relative rankings on that count are middle of the pack (some had good pass defense, like Titans, some had pretty bad) and so may not be a big factor, but a team could have played lights out earlier in the year but regressed in pass defense by the time we played them.

Controlling for these starts to get into the advanced stat arena, but I feel like Football Outsiders DVOA style stat is probably the best at that sort of ranking. They use quantitative factors instead of the subjective calls PFF and QBR use, and I believe Blake grades out pretty well with DVOA style results as well, but I haven't checked recently.

How can a good pass defense give up five TDs at home? Anyone who watched that game would think Tennessee's pass defense sucks.
