When I saw the image they were using to promote their idea, I thought it looked awfully familiar.  Then I saw the skyline.

I like our approach better.  Keep the NFL here AND offer other venues for people to enjoy.

Wonder what kind of fishes they'll stock for us to catch????? :teehee:

Was that a Shipyards idea?
Khan moving to STL= confirmed

I was born in St. Louis.  My dad took me to some Cardinal games at Busch Stadium back in the day.  I hope they don't lose the Rams.  But make no mistake, St. Louis is a baseball town.  The Jags would move to LA, London, San Antonio, Mexico City, San Juan Puerto Rico or Effingham, Illinois before they'll move to St. Louis.

My wife and I were up there last year during baseball season.  It was the weekend of the draft and not a peep from anyone even when I had my Jags gear on.  First city I've ever been to where that happened.  When we went to the baseball game that city came alive.  It was obvious who they root for there.

The guy makes a pretty solid case for an aquarium.  There's no reason you can't have an NFL team AND an aquarium.

I was up there for a month around the time of the draft when spring training was just winding down back in 2012.  I was using my Tunein app to listen to sports talk in Jax at the time because when I'd listen to local sports talk in STL, it was ALL about the Cardinals.   Nobody was talking about the NFL.  I asked some people I was working with there about this, and to a person they said that the Rams were fun when they were winning, but the city would barely notice if they lost the team because most people were more involved with the Cardinals.

McGraw Milhaven, a local talk show host there in STL is blasting the NFL today for that letter Goodell sent them.  It sounds like the league has pretty much shot down their efforts to build a new stadium to keep the Rams in STL despite the fact that the city had stepped up and come up with what looked to be a good plan to keep the team there.
