With the major pieces in FA delivered, here is my mock draft.
I used Matt Millers 7 round mock draft as a base. I didn't look ahead to see who would be available later to try and make it a tad more realistic.

I'm on my phone so I apologize if the link doesn't work. Google is your friend if it doesn't.
Round 1- Solomon Thomas DE Stanford- Best player available and you can never have enough defensive linemen. We are building something special along that front.
Round 2- Dan Feeney OG Indiana- This pick has to be used on this position and luckily one of the best in the draft was available. Plug and play at LG.
Round 3- Roderick Johnson OT FSU- Parnell has been okay. Some competition is needed. Would not surprise me to see Johnson take the spot after some adjustment to the NFL.
Round 4- Julie'n Davenport OT Bucknell- This line has to be fixed. While he is raw and from a small school, he has all the traits you want in a LT. In 2-3 years he can be our guy after Albert.
Round 5- Derrick Griffin TE Texas Southern- My personal favorite pick of this draft. Griffin is an athletic freak. Top WR coming out of high school (grades didn't let him into Miami) who's body clearly developed in a good way. Plays basketball (6-7 230) and is a double-double machine. He just needs to put it all together and he'll be a star.
Round 6- Nico Siragusa OG SDSU- Pure value pick here. No way he falls in real life but he was there so..I'm not sold on Cann and Siragusa would come in and compete for RG. This guy can run block.
Round 7- Devonte Fields EDGE Louisville- Productive rusher in college with character concerns. Worth a gamble as a 7th rounder.
I don't think we would've been so aggressive with Campbell and pay so much to go D-line at 4. You got a lot of guys up front already.
#4 is gonna be Fournette. That's just the way it is.
Thank you! I've seen so much about how RB seems like a lock now. I still want Solomon Thomas at 4, no matter what happens. Coughlin won Super Bowls with a consistent pass rush and lots of pass rushers, and that's what this defense is still lacking, even with Campbell. Ngakoue shows promise, jury is still out on Fowler, and Malik is a stud in the middle; but give me an every down guy traditional DE Thomas we can build on for the next 8-10yrs. His ceiling is far higher than Ngakoue's IMO, and Fowler.

Fournette went 2. Wasn't an option.

To who? No one ahead of us needs a RB. Did someone trade up?
1st Solomon Thomas DE
2nd Cam Robinson OT
3rd Pat Elflein C
4th Demarcus Walker DE
5th K.D. Cannon WR
6th Donnel Pumphrey RB
7th Cooper Rush QB
I think that's way too many linemen, not all of them would even make the final roster.
I think we take a guard and I think we take a tackle, idk about 2 each though

I really like it, especially the emphasis on the offensive line.

With Calais signed we're now set at DE and if anything can use a replacement for Marks inside. Jonathan Allen fits that bill better than Thomas.
Round 2- Dan Feeney OG Indiana- This pick has to be used on this position and luckily one of the best in the draft was available. Plug and play at LG.
OK... very athletic... but he lacks sheer power. I'd rather sign LT Dion Dawkins and move him inside. Dude is a true mauler.
Round 3- Roderick Johnson OT FSU- Parnell has been okay. Some competition is needed. Would not surprise me to see Johnson take the spot after some adjustment to the NFL.
This is an ideal spot for a RB if we don't get a first round RB, and especially if Mixon, Forma, Hill or Kamara fall. If we did go RB already, this becomes an ideal spot for a TE like Hodges or Evans.
Round 4- Julie'n Davenport OT Bucknell- This line has to be fixed. While he is raw and from a small school, he has all the traits you want in a LT. In 2-3 years he can be our guy after Albert.
Depending on what we do in earlier rounds, you can still find a good RB or TE in this round. Hill might even still be here, or else Perrine should be a great fit. At TE you can possibly get Shaheen, Roberts, Jonnu Smith or Sprinkle. You can also find some decent CBs this late.
I hadn't even looked at Griffin. This draft is so deep I figured he'll go undrafted. If Roberts drops this far I'd have to take him... great blocker.
Round 6- Nico Siragusa OG SDSU- Pure value pick here. No way he falls in real life but he was there so..I'm not sold on Cann and Siragusa would come in and compete for RG. This guy can run block.
Love the pick if he actually lasts this long.
Round 7- Devonte Fields EDGE Louisville- Productive rusher in college with character concerns. Worth a gamble as a 7th rounder.
Eh ... I don't know though... it's round 7 ...maybe get yet another OL.
I would go(if possible)
1.Solomon Thomas Stan
2.Dan Feeney IU
3.Bucky Hodges VT
4.Samaje Perine OU
5.Damontae Kazee SDSU
6.Brad Seaton Nova
7.Freddie Stevenson FSU
7.Alec Torgersen Penn
Quote:Miller's board is weird.
I'll give it a stab using this board...
- 1.4 - DT Jonathan Allen
- 2.35 - OT Cam Robinson <--I never imagined he'd fall
- 3.68 - RB Jeremy McNichols
- 4.110 - CB Jalen Myrick <--4.29 40, instant gunner
- 5.148 - TE George Kittle <--goes undrafted on this board, but I doubt he lasts any longer
- 6.187 - G Nico Siragusa
- 7.222 - FB Freddy Stevenson
We have 2 7th rounders now guys because of the JT trade

Hmm.... we need some insurance at LB behind Jack and Poz.
