Who needs google? It's common sense as to why.
Quote:I bet if the Texans win next week and we win out, Week 17's game (which will decide the division) against the Texans will be flexed as well.
8pm?

Haha yes I know I was merely stating that Google is not her friend. I don't even look up any kind of health problems on google because you could look up sore throat causes and find out you could have 2 different types of cancer!
Quote:We are only eliminated next weekend if the Colts beat the Texans and if we lose to the Falcons.  If the Texans beat the Colts, losing to the Falcons doesnt eliminate us.
How is this true? If we lose we can only finish with a 7-9 record and the Texans would already have 7 after beating the Colts?

You are correct. One should pretty much avoid Dr. Google as his misdiagnosis % is pretty high.

At least the Jags are getting flexed in a positive way this time.

Quote:Whoa Whoa Whoa here, let's not get ahead of ourselves. We still have the Falcons to play first

I think we beat the dirty birds. Saints, probably not.
Quote:Folks you know what this means?! We will get a MNF or SNF game next year most likely Smile
Teams on the rise with explosive offenses often do. We have to stay strong the rest of the year and finish like we mean it.
Quote:No, we have to win all three remaining games and finish 8-8. That is clearly explained in at least three other threads.
One should not speak as fact that which is incorrect. Looking at you, J-Dub.

Hey, leave Dr. Google alone! He told me that my headache meant that I had pneumonia. Don't worry, I've got my vasectomy scheduled next week, and that should clean it all up.
Chief, stop  :woot:

And to see 'others' explaining tings...

They'll probably flex nfc east first. Those teams make more money.

If there's a game to decide the NFC Least in week 17, oh yeah, it would get flexed ahead of the AFC Suck. If not, and if the Jags-Texans game is actually for all the marbles, we might find ourselves in prime time.

Lol nfc least and afc suck. Nice
Quote:I guess the <a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.nfl.com/playoffs/playoff-picture/predictor'>NFL Playoff Predictor</a> is wrong, then.

I think it might be. If we end up tied with the Texans at 8-8 by winning out and beating them in week 17, our division record would be 3-3. Theirs would be 4-2. That playoff tool must be using a different tie breaker but I'm pretty sure division record is first tie breaker in determining division winner.
This really isn't that exciting for us.  It is NOT a national game.  It is purely local since CBS doesn't have the doubleheader that week.  It just means that it's on at 4 instead of 1.

We'll still get more coverage on the redzone, so that's a thing.
The Giants/Vikings game will flex to SNF week 16 as well. Too bad they wouldn't give us that slot but I understand the reasoning.

Big market >>>> Little market.

First time in this thread for me.............I glanced at the title and thought it was Jags vs Saints fixed.  I immediately assumed TMD was back online with a Goodell conspiracy theory.
