Hey, does anyone know if we'll see the Golden Uniforns again?

Doubt it. It was a one time thing for the color rush. Thankfully.

I always wanted us to have a gold alternate. Wish they'd rock'm more often, really.

I dont get the hate. Same as the helmets. Dont get da hate... We're trendsetting in the greatest professional sporting league in the world, with boldness and flair. We wont be the last team with 2 tone fade front to back helmets, but we will have been the 1st. And to have that along with all gold uniforms? Our young talent shows it's shine.

I want to know when we'll see the teal jerseys before we see them gold jerseys..

They're awful. Hideous. Terrible. An embarrassment. The worst uniforms ever.

 

That's why.

They've been auctioned off.

Who knows, I only saw the mustard uniforms this year.

Please, allow me to illuminate you; for starters, the two tone helmets have been officially recognized as the ugliest helmets in the NFL. They appear as though someone had primed them with flat black primer and then started to paint them... and then ran out of paint halfway through! There is no 'prestige' in being the owners of the ugliest helmet design... being 'first' at it doesn't help.

 

Secondly, the 'gold' uniform; if you really need someone to explain why the appearance of this uniform was/is an aberration, then perhaps nothing I could say in this forum would make any difference. Suffice to say that the 'gold' appears closer in color to urine than to 'gold'. It's probably the one uniform the players could wear and pee in their pants and no one would be able to tell the difference... except possibly for the smell. And comparing our 'young talent' to this abomination of a uniform? That's not a thing a Jag fan would want to do, I think.

I like the helmets. I just didn't like the gold tone in the unis. Jags have always been accented more by teal, and the teal unis are the best ones we have.

To each his own. I like the classic teal uniforms and helmets we started with. They were outstanding looking uniforms with a unique look. Why 'fix it' if it ain't broken? I'm for going back to the original teal. We got it right the first time... and just made it worse trying to be different.

They've been sent to a 3rd world country along with all of those pre-printed "Cubs World Series Champion" t-shirts.

You can't sell it once it's bought, but if I give you a BB5 jersey in 3 different colors and 4 different patterns then you just might buy them all.
