Stop tailgating with that idiot.

Quote:Nobody was even expecting the team to be competing for a division title at this point in the season this year, so the fact that we are ahead of expectations is a good thing. No one? I beg to differ! I expected us to compete in year 3 for a division title.. And i believe there are many more... Technically the jags are below.500 sooo that says a lot about our division whether more then the team... They are better then last year tho.
Quote:Well let's be honest, in a normal year, we wouldn't be competing for the division.
Our division has been so bad that we can compete even at 5-8.
I wouldn't say we are ahead of expectations. I think we are right on track. 6 or 7 wins is pretty much what people expected. They also expected the Colts to win 11 games per usual.
Quote:If we are not ahead of expectations, what were you expecting? The offense has definitely exceeded my expectations this year. They're awesome.
Look, we have a bad division record. We beat the Dolphins, Bills, and Ravens before getting our first AFCS win. So I can't say we are looking better this year because the AFCS sucks.

The team however is right where I thought. They will win, most likely, 6 or 7 games. 8 would be unreal awesome.
Quote:My expectation was to start looking like a playoff team in four years. We apparently are on track for that with one more offseason to pick up offensive linemen (especially a center) and defensive players.Does 5-8 add up to 13? I'm a bit mathematically challenged from my years in Vietnam eating poppies.
Not technically - actually. We are 5-8. We should have a better record after 13 games next season.
Quote:Who said we can't get a center and defensive players in the same offseason?Lets get a defense first

Quote:How about you learn something about this thing called the NFL draft? Obviously with that thing, we can get a center and defensive players on the same day.No, that's unpossible. The draft is separated into 3 days now, so we can't get both on the same day!

You should probably stop talking since you don't understand have the things people say on here.
Quote:Why do you say that? If you know the draft is 3 days long, you have to know multiple rounds are on the second and third days.Because we are going kicker with all of our picks, obviously

Quote:Well let's be honest, in a normal year, we wouldn't be competing for the division.^^very good post. I completely agree with your sentimemt. The team is obviously progressing nicely. But, there are still improvements needing made (in particular, consistency with offensive scoring and consistency with good defensive play).
