I've seen a few posts about the decision to score at the end with the game in hand. I wanted to bring to light the fact that with the AFCS being as knotted up as it is, when given the chance, you score. Don't get me wrong as do believe in respect for the game/opponents. Gus even mentions this in his locker room speach which tells me that that last goal to go situation may have been a strategy incase this comes down to tie breakers with points scored and points allowed. If you think about it, if we win against the texans than we are 1-1 vs the other 3 teams in the division. I don't know their division and conference records but I do know that if we keep winning, that last game of the season is huge. I may be completely off. Has anyone already done the research to see who wins the tiebreakers if it comes down to it?
I will always be in favor of scoring. It's the opponents job to stop it.
As someone who was at the stadium, the fan base needed that score.

This^

I don't care about butthurt feelings of the opponent. Run the damn thing up..
The decision to go for the 50 was beautiful. After the years of abuse and "we're too good for you" attitude of the clots, they more than deserved this. And I'm sure Houston and Ten fans love it as well.
Can't stand people complaining about running up the score on the opponent. When we are on the losing end of a team running up the score, I'm mad at the Jags for letting that happen.
The fans deserved the 50.
They decided to go for it on 4th down as well, even though the game was out of hand.

Can't fault us for going for it. If the colts don't like it? Screw em
patriots scored 51 on the Jaguars just this year.  I didn't blame the pats, I blamed the Jags for sucking.

I hope we score 50 on every opponent from now until ever.

This x1000

When teams were blowing us out last year nobody gave a damn about them running the score up on us. The Pats didn't get scolded for poor sportsmanship earlier this year when they demolished us. Now all of a sudden we need to be the bigger team?!? Hell naw. Run that score up till the damn board breaks.

Also when we get beat like a drum I get mad at my team not the other team lol. If they don't like it then stop it.
There is no such thing as running up the score in pro football.

If you don't want the other team to score a lot of points then play defense and stop them.

I agree with all of you. We sure did need that score as a fan base and a team. I'd love to know if Gus scored for strategy more than emotional investment.
Like I said in a previous post, they beat us last year at home like 44-17. So no I don't feel bad in the slightest of hanging the 50 burger on them this year!
50 Burger.....Heard Adam say that during the broadcast....freaking awesome

Who cares. Do your job defense
80 is not enough in my book.

With how many times teams have ran it up on us it feels good to be on the opposite end of it..

A divisional opponent deserves zero mercy. They would have no problem with driving up the score on the Jags. Turnabout is fair play.
How many times have the Colts run the score up on opponents?  They're in no position to be crying about it happening to them.
