maybe if he's still on the board in the 4th, or ideally the 5th round.

That would be deadly. Long game for an opposing defense and you throw Henry out there to start the rest of the 3rd/4th Quarter and completely wear them out.
Derrick Henry is going to make Ron Dayne look like an all-pro.

Shoelace should be ahead, he's a third year guy. Yeldon will get it too and he probably has more upside since he has a pro body.

What's so great about DRob even more than his speed is his vision. If there's a lane, he'll see it and he'll hit it fast. I agree he looked even better than Yeldon today, but I'm not yet convinced he should start over Yeldon. Denard relies on there being a hole to hit and a lane to run through whereas Yeldon seems to make his own holes where none exist.

D-Rob should be the change of pace back and only get 7-10 carries a game. Yeldon should still be the starter. D-Rob can't handle a full workload, he doesn't pass block as well as Yeldon, and Yeldon is more dynamic in the passing game even though D-Rob can catch out of the backfield as well. D-Rob is faster and more explosive than Yeldon but Yeldon has better feet and patience as well as more power. They're a good combo either way and we should do a committee similar to the Bengals. 15 carries for Yeldon around 7-10 for D-Rob. Bring in a short yardage specialist through the draft, be it Henry or whoever and we will be set in the run game.

They both played well. D Rob definitely looked fresh out there though.

Can't wait to see what Yeldon and Robinson can do after a major overhaul to the defense next year and a minor overhaul to the run blocking.
DRob is fast to the hole.  Yeldon is more methodical.  the plan was a two headed run game but Robinson was hurt early.

I brought up the Henry option to O'Halloran,  they laughed at me.  Someone called it the "Eye Rolling Tweet of the Night".  We'll see who's eyes roll next year when Henry is busting tackles at the line.

And for the record, I'm not even an SEC fan let alone Bama.  but good is good.

I think what separates Drob from Yeldon is his burst. Some of the "holes" he had in that game really weren't that big "holes". He just accelerated through it so fast. There was one play towards the end when he got past the LOS and there was a Colt player trailing him. I thought for sure it was going to be one of those shoe string tackles.

Nope...

Drob turned on the jets and pulled away.
