He won't be injured next year, pimpin'
You would rather rely on an uninjured rookie.
Fowler won't be either next season.

Wow
Quote:Glad Reggie doing well, shame he was ran out of town. This is what good coaching can do.
Quote:You are being totally ignorant. There are many players who go from one team to another until they find the right one to succeed at and several reasons this happens. Some players go to teams with great coaches, but get demoted to backup. Many of them are late bloomers or just need a change of scenery. It is impossible to ever know why Reggie Nelson needed to play for Cincinnati instead of Jacksonville.
Quote:I think it's great that the stats for Poz and Smith are so good and I agree that both are playing well.
But, maybe some of our stats are being inflated slightly by the situations we find ourselves in.
For instance, how many times have we found ourselves needing quick points and turning to Bortles to hurl the ball around, rather than relying on Yeldon? Bortles numbers improve as a result, but in an ideal world, maybe we would put less pressure on Bortles (which comes with its risks of course).
Similarly, our linebackers are making a lot of tackles. But is that partly because they are on the field more than some other linebackers? (I haven't got stats to back this up, but I suspect the Panthers stop opposition drives a lot quicker than we do).
