Quote:Brady has 31 TD's, NFL.com takes awhile to update the season stats after the games. Regardless, Bortles is 3rd in TD's and 6th in yards. Could end up in the top 5 in both categories before the season ends.
I edited it to correct it. I dont understand why NFL.com takes so long to update its stats.
Blake is only 57% comp, but if you remember back at the start of the season a lot of dropped passes that should've been caught by the Jaguars WR core (had they been caught, Blake might be closer to Brady in stats this season even closer to the 4k than he is now), still with 3,274 yards he only needs 726 more passing yards to surpass 4,000 this season with 4 more games remaining at 181 yards per game average it is very likely that he can surpass it!

To me, anyone who doesn't like the way Bortles is progressing is patently unreasonable.
This team even having a chance to win is all because of Bortles. The dude is a franchise qb, and he played nearly perfect yesterday. I remember one bad pass (Thomas slipped) and the last offensive play of the game, he could've diagnosed better. Otherwise, he put up ridiculous numbers. Good completion percentage, near perfect qb rating, 5 tds, over 300 yards passing. Atleast we finally have our franchise qb. This team is very close because of him.
Blake needs 548 yards to match Luck's second season yards and already has 4 more tds than that season.
He made the pro bowl that season.
Quote:No way is Blake going to the Pro Bowl this year. However I do expect him to get voted in eventually.
Your saltiness is reaching epic proportions. Garrard made the Pro Bowl after 7 other QBs declined. There's definitely "a way" even ignoring how well BB5 has been playing this season.
If BB5 aka BBTD aka BB350 hits 4k yards and 30 TDs, the coaches and players will vote him in regardless of the fan vote (which will still be pretty strong thanks to fantasy football).
