Mac and Nuss are flying out to Wash on Wed to meet with Eason and his parents after Smart. If Smart hires a spread OC, my money is on Eason coming to UF then. It's a race between UG and UF now though. It sounds like either way Frank's will EE with UF even if they sign Eason too

The funny thing about it is that it's very normal to me now.  My kid is getting ready to enroll in college so I've been hitting some of the enrollment boards and every other word is abbreviated.  As an example, S means son  and D means daughter .... others .....

I'm sure Eason has a lot of familiarity with Mac from when he was out at Colorado State.  I know people from out west were really able to see the rise of Colorado State from year to year and were impressed with his coaching.  His pro style offense really fits what Eason could do.

 

If UGA hires a spread type OC, there's no chance Eason goes there.

I hadn't heard of them flying out. Good news though.
