Steve from Nashville, TN:

Why is "trusting the process" that produces field-goal attempts instead of touchdowns a good thing to get behind? Possibly, the existing process is not working?

The team knows it has a kicking problem with Jason Myers so they are trying to instill the confidence in him so he can make the game winning kick in crunch time once we open up the playbook.  Grooming a young kicker with a big leg can be very difficult.

<div>Chris from Norfolk, VA:
I would be more than happy to see nothing but linemen taken in the draft. Pass rushers and tackles, tackles and pass rushers!

</div>
That sounds like a great idea, I remember a few years ago the team desperately needed a passrush so they drafted two of the top edge rushers in the draft class and If i recall everything was fixed that season.

Sam from Boston, MA:
Pat, it seems this "rebuild" is not working as well as it should at this point. Everyone seems to want to get rid of the coaches. (I think only the defensive coordinator needs to go) But why isn't anyone talking about getting rid of Caldwell? His first draft yielded zero front-line starters: Joeckel is a bust. Cyprien is average; Gratz is a backup at best. Ace Sanders cut. His second draft is a little better but Bortles hasn't proven to be the "guy." …

I'm in total agreement here that 2013 draft class was just filled with top level talent and any GM that does not hit solid gold on his picks should be fired immediately.  I'm also in the belief that Raw Quarterbacks in their second year in the league behind an elite offensive line should be all-pro at this point in their development, otherwise whats the point cut them and move on.  Tebow is out there waiting to lead us to the playoffs all we need is to believe!

<div>Al from Carroll, TX:
With the Jaguars’ struggles to run do you believe they will incorporate a fullback in the offense next season?

I don't think a fullback will solve the problems this team is having running the ball.  The only solution I can see is to abandon the scheme and replace it with the Packers sweep, after that all we need is a couple seals and an alley.

<div>Trey from Jacksonville:
Would Dante Fowler Jr. be worth three wins this year?? Sure seems like it right now.

I would rather him be worth three playoff wins next year.

I guess taking some of the Ozone questions and answering them your own way.

I stopped reading the Ozone shortly after it started. I never liked him as a senior writer. We need a new guy here next season.

then think of this as auditioning, take the questions he answers and answer them how you would.
I read "ask Vic" every single day at lunch for years. Rarely missed one of his columns because I enjoyed his sarcasm and knowledge.

I haven't read a single o zone in the last 3 years. The guy just doesn't come close to filling Vic's shoes imo.
I too read Ask Vic almost daily. His knowledge of the game and sarcastic attitude was the big draw for me. I tried to like the new guy, but every time I see him, this comes to mind...

For someone who doesn't like the Ozone ,the mailbag videos are actually pretty funny.

Although seeing John Oehser wearing the gold uniform was tough on the eyes.
I'm the same vic every day rarely if ever Johnny O

You know who liked Vic more than some of you? Vic did. dude was mighty high on his own opinions. Very annoying and his football acumen was no where near as high as he believed.

edit: He also personally recommended John O for his job upon his exiting.

Vic was great.  It's often mentioned that he was sarcastic, but one of the biggest draws, for me personally, was that he put a lot of information into his answers.  There are many questions where he wrote a paragraph or two in response.  The Ozone seems like every response is less than 40 characters.  Really, preference is probably a generational thing.  I'd wager the younger generation prefers the self-deprecating "tweets" of the Ozone, and the older generation prefers the edited, reminiscing, cranky responses of Ask Vic.  As a guy that is in the middle, I'd take Vic any day of the week (although his viewer videos were hard to watch).

Im so confused

I'm 28 so I'm not sure if I'm really 'the younger generation' but I personally can't stand the new style vs. the old Vic style. Let's just say I won't go out of my way to buy an 'OZone mug' to keep my ask Vic mug company.

I was 14 when i started reading vic and it was almost a part of morning routine, the man was insightful with his knowledge of the past and just had a way to keep you interested in what he was saying. I completely stopped reading when osher took over man doesn't have  a bad personality he just doesn't add anything useful into his answers.

At 38 I am in the younger generation. My preference is long detailed answers with no typing errors. John not only keeps his answers short, but fails to correct all of his mistakes, which is unacceptable for anybody who is paid to write articles and answer questions on a website.

I have no idea what videos you are talking about but many on Jaguars.com are hard to watch because they frequently pause (especially Gus Bradley's pressers) and in some I heard echos. I stopped watching all videos on Jaguars.com after the 2014 season. Does anyone else have that problem?

....even if the answers are incorrect.
