I usually go the the bathroom since the caffeine kicks in around that time. In the case of the Black Eyed Peas my bathroom break was a better show as well.

My favorite part about the halftime shows is when they are over. Oddly I watch the Super Bowl for football.
Stone Temple Pilots would be a great half time show... Or maybe even Velvet Revolver.....

I'm indifferent on Coldplay, but I've found the last couple shows much more entertaining than when they've had the legacy acts out there and I expect Coldplay to continue the trend. Funnily enough I prefer the older bands' music to the likes of Coldplay, Katy Perry, and Bruno Mars, but they don't really make for great halftime shows. If you're going to pigeonhole a concert into the SuperBowl, at least make it fun, and the NFL learned how to do that recently.
